  1. Just back from the Allure. Didn't see anyone forcing a dress code but most people were dressed nice. Almost everyone wore formal on formal nights. Even on other days, people wore seemingly fresh new clothes at least. I guess the reason for that was less the dress code but more an opportunity to get good photos. So basically, yes, it does seem like people keep travelling back to room to change clothes. Keep in mind though that even though there is a dress code, it doesnt imply that the MDR is an upscale place to eat. The menu is a disaster. You have to practically train them on what vegetarian food means. They do make it up with top notch service though. They will bend backwards to make you happy.
  2. I, the OP, hereby apologize for kicking up the storm. Hope everyone had fun !
  3. Thanks ! 🙂 Will arrive at 7:30AM. Sunday. So there are eating places in MIA departure section ?
  4. Are any of these options possible for breakfast and shopping(wine etc.) : 1) At the airport: Does the departure area have any Taco Bell, mcD, pizza hut etc. or any eatery ? 2) At the seaport: I guess there is no shops/stores at the POM seaport ? 3) Check-in baggage to RCCL at the airport departure itself so that we can take a taxi to anyplace and eat/shop without having to lug big suitcases along ? 4) Reach seaport, check bags in, take uber to a restaurant and then back ? What option works best for you guys ?
  5. Looking at description of various dining options onboard Allure, looks like shorts are not allowed in most. However YouTube shows people wearing shorts on the ship. Do people keep going to their rooms to change clothes everytime they want to eat ?
  6. Does anyone know the addresses of the docking port for Allure of the Seas in Bahamas and the address of Atlantis entrance ? Wondering how long/safe that journey is.
  7. Is there a good place to buy those 2 bottles of wine at the port of Miami before boarding the ship ?
  8. Which dining rooms on the allure feature Indian Vegetarian options ? The cruise planner seems to allow booking "My Time Dining" in the "American Icon" dining room only and there is no info which all restaurants have Indian Veg options.
