  1. Tipping culture in the US is crazy. NCL should pay their staff a proper wage and not shift the responsibility to the customers. I understand this would result in higher fares, but takes out a lot of the fuzziness. They could already do this and just roll the service charge into the cruise fare, but they won't, because that way they couldn't profit of the "free" incentives the way they do now.
  2. And that's great. It's just a weird mixture of shipwide ban on plastic straws (with paper straws upon request) vs plastic straws galore for your frappuchino.
  3. On the Bliss they send the slip around the 3rd or 4th day, but it said valid for the whole cruise. We did laundry a week in, they picked up the basket after 12pm and we had the laundry back the same day around 7pm. I was impressed.

  5. The Starbucks on the Bliss still gives out plastic straws. It's bizarre to me.
  6. I completed check-in for our 3/30 Bliss cruise on Sunday. I hope I'll get the banner/email eventually. :D
