Not sure if its just for this itinerary, or because its late in the Alaska season, or if this happens often. But Alfredo's on the Royal is offering bottles of wine for $9.00 (+18%). Cheaper than a single glass! Only small catch is that you must drink it there, or in your cabin (or you can return to Alfredo's with it as well). The red was a Diseno Malbec (pretty decent), the white was something from Nobilo (didn't see the varietal).

The MUTS schedule is already loaded into the JourneyView portion of the MedallionClass app for my Sept 7th Alaska cruise on the Royal.
Haven't taken the time to go through the entire schedule though, so I can't list them, sorry.

Never hurts to ask. There was a $388 price drop on my cabin after final payment was due. Princess wouldn't issue a refund (didn't expect one), but did give me $250 in non-refundable OBC.

I'm doing something similar in September before my cruise, spending 4 days at Denali. Since I'll have a rental car, I'm staying outside the park to save money. I'm chose the White Moose Lodge, which looks basic but clean, and very affordable.

Seaview Bar Treasure Chest was a great deal for $20
Just curious as to what this is?

Yes, the promo gift card expires on 7/31/19.
Thanks. I assume it just needs to be spent by then, so I could still apply it to a Sept. cruise.

Can this be used towards final payment if you booked through an OTA? Seems like a no-brainer if so.

In a perfect world, it would be nice if they had a policy similar to what Southwest Airlines used to have. If a Passenger of Size can't fit into one seat, they were asked to pay for two seats. However, if the flight doesn't sell out, the price of the second ticket gets refunded (since the airline didn't actually lose revenue).
In reality though, its all market driven. Singles pay 100% simply because the cruise lines can get it.
BTW, as someone solo cruising to Alaska this summer, I wouldn't mind at least having a useful coupon book. BOGO deals are no good for singles - how about 50% off specialty dining?

Its a good thing I prefer iced coffee. Just throw it in the fridge for the next morning!

When looking at the Royal deck plans on the Princess website, it gives me the choice of sailings before or after May 11, 2019. For some reason, the category of my upcoming Alaska cruise cabin (E405 - Deluxe Obstructed Balcony on the Emerald deck) changes from DV (pre 5/11) to DW (post 5/11). From every description I read, these seem to be identical. Any guesses as to why the category changes? I assume it doesn't really matter, just curious...
Sports bar on Royal
in Princess Cruises

I'm on the Royal now, and was hoping to watch the Pats game this past Sunday. When I asked around, they said the only bar that carries sports is the casino bar, and they only have ESPN and ESPN2 on their two TVs (and these are both available in your cabin as well).
I was thrilled when my platter arrived that evening, and it showed three games on MUTS (9am, 12pm and 4:15pm). And since the Pats were on Sunday Night Football, it worked out awesome for me!
