  1. John Heald posted today that Carnival is doing away with plastic water bottles and is going to cans. Not sure what size the cans will be.
  2. It took us 3 cruises to get to Grand Turk. Even though it;s not a tender, high winds kept us from docking.
  3. Those of you who have cruised the Legend in Alaska 7 day Seattle round trip. Do you remember the day and time the VIP party was held? Thanks for any info.
  4. Well check what some want to do. https://reason.com/blog/2018/01/25/california-bill-would-criminalize-restau
  5. Well, we did the 2/23/18 Sunshine cruise. Ports were Grand Turk, San Juan, St Kitts and St Maarten. Had great weather at all ports. It was a little rough Leaving Canaveral the first night. We had one of the inside cabins, deck 5 aft. Could feel vibrations on most nights, not enough to bother us. Loved the location of the cabin. We thought the food was better than our last cruise on Princess. Lot's of places to eat lunch. This was a premier casino cruise and the casino was really crowded on most sea days and nights. Our FB group did hit $2500 on a slot pull, think we ended up getting around $60 on a $20 dollar buy in. Had fixed early dining. Had a great team serving us. My biggest complaint is it takes time to get a drink at most bars. Not enough bar staff. Overall we had a great cruise. We have been to all ports before so only did one tour. Did a bar hop tour in St Kitts. Only 8 of us, had a really great time. St Maarten is still recovering from the storm damage. Still lot's of damaged buildings, boats sunk in the bays, road damage etc.
