  1. Hello:

    I wonder if anyone else sees this or just me. I have a reservation in exactly 30 days on Icon and i got an email today that the cruise documents were ready to view. When i went to log in the reservation is not displaying on the web site. It logs in but says 0 reservations. I waited the 15 minutes but still no luck. Its still in the app with my cabin number but my check in info is a blank white square. Is this because of the 30 day thing? Im not sure why that would happen. Is it just me? Or is anyone else having issues once logged in.

  2. Hi:

    I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this situation. In 2019 when we cruised with Royal I could simply select cash account and continue with the check in process. As i understand it now i need to enter a CC number otherwise i'll have to check in at the pier. I did see on the Royal FAQ section though it says you can enter a CC during check in and the switch to a cash account either in the app or online, thus eliminating the need to go to guest services once on board. Has anyone done this? How does it work and where in the app do you do the switch? Do you need to wait a certain amount of time or can you go back immediately after getting a boarding pass and switch it out? I just would like to avoid having to wait in line at the pier or onboard to change over to cash. Thanks for any advice!

    The policies of Little French Key bother me. 

    Hi, sorry to ask but we are planning a Roatan excursion and are trying to decide on Little French Key or somewhere else. Could i ask which policies are bothersome? I am still on the fence about this place.

  4. This shows for my June cruise as well. I did see a work around though. If you click on the anchor icon in the upper left corner and go to the main page there will be 3 horizontal lines in the same corner. Click on those, then manage my cruise, make a payment and then the correct balance should display along with the option to make a payment.

  5. I'm not sure of the current condition since the last time we were there was 2019 but it is very walkable. I remember walking back to the port when we were done and it was maybe 10 minutes. A straight walk down the street with the port always in sight so no chance of getting lost.

  6. Is the cruise planner working for anyone at the moment. I can sign in but whenever I try to pick anything in the planner( excursions, dinning, internet,etc) the ships wheel just spins and eventually says to check back later. I can see the cruise but can't see anything in the planner. This is on mobile and desktop with multiple browsers. Just trying to see if it's a site issue or just me.

  7. Thanks so much! This makes me feel a lot better about it. Just one more question. I saw some things about paying high taxes if using a credit card. Did you pay in cash or can they take cards? Also are you transported in a large group or just your own party?

    I was hoping to get some more info on this excursion. I have been following LFK on instagram and trip advisor and i know some of the back story about the situation with the owners. Can i ask where you booked this tour from? We are going in July and i googled it and was almost caught by the wrong website that's out there but did stop before giving any payment info. Did you book through LFK directly or is there another tour company you used? Also, was the transportation included and on time? I usually dont do non ship sponsored tours because of anxiety of missing the ship but this place looks and sounds really fun and includes the sloths so i really want to go. Any other details you could give about the experience would be so helpful. Thanks!

    I believe you would lose your standard deposit.  The reason for that wording is that some fares have reduced deposits.  If your deposit ($375) is the standard deposit for the cruise that is what you would lose.  If it was a reduced deposit than you need to find what the standard deposit is for the length and type cruise you booked.  That will be you loss.  You do not add penalties together.

    I was hoping someone could help me understand this. I have booked a super saver fare with a deposit of 375. My final payment date is Mar.15, sail date June 13.I have already paid 2000 dollars in addition to the 375 towards the cruise. I understand if i  cancel between today and Mar.15 I loose the 375 but get the 2000 back. What i'm not sure of is if i pay the final payment amount today for a trip total of 3375 dollars and cancel  before Apr.16(56 days out) what is the penalty? Carnival says it would be the standard deposit amount. does this mean i would loose the 375 deposit plus another 375 off of the rest? Would the refund be 2,625 then? Or do I only loose the 375 from the initial deposit but get the whole 3000 back as long as i'm less than 55 days out. Any help is appreciated.

  11. I also have reservations for 3 specialty restaurants on the Panorama this June without having to pay. Its really odd because sometimes when you log in you choose"Specialty Dinning", pick your restaurant and then they want to charge you. However when i log into Carnival on my daughters tablet there is a choice on the page that says "Make dinning reservations", that takes me a choice of onboard restaurants. I pick the one i want, set a time and click confirm, no payment required. I got an email confirmation for each a few days later. There unfortunately doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for when this option displays on the website. I have gotten it on Chrome on my desktop but not for awhile now but it was on the tablet last week. So just keep trying different browsers and devices i guess? Good Luck!
