There are some less desirable cabins in that category.  On the Adventure, the balconies are part of the superstructure.  They are not exterior to the skin.  So the balconies are somewhat "cavelike", but particularly so on Deck 6, where there is metal on the bottom of the outer facing wall.  Deck 7 & up has plexiglass.

I am booked thru an agent for 2D GTY Oceanview Balcony on Adventure of the Seas. It is a group cruise and I am not sure about obstructed cabins in that category. Does anyone know if there are any obstructed oceanview cabins in the 2D category? Thanks!

We actually started boarding the bus about 10:15 but then waited while they looked for two missing people. We arrived at the pier around 10:45. I was on board and in my room by 11:30.

Well, so far my Juneau excursion has been cancelled. The one excursion I have been dreaming about for the past 3 years! Time in port is too short for the Tracy Arm Fjord Glacier Explorer excursion. I am beyond disappointed. From what I am reading I can't even cancel our cruise without penalty. 😭

I hope they sort out the times so we don't lose our excursions. Can't imagine why the big change. Although I am so happy to get on my cruise after 3 years of planning and cancellations and planning again, that I just want on the ship! LOL

I didn't even notice Juneau. I hope they move our Tracy Arm Fjord excursion to later so we can still take it. That was one I was most excited for!

Crown Princess

My June RT cruise from Seattle to Alaska just had an itinerary change. Ketchikan is gone and now there is a stop in Icy Strait instead. The stop is only 3 1/2 hrs 5pm to 8:30pm. Is that enough time to go on an excursion? There are no excursions listed yet. Thanks

I was finally able to request early ticketing. Turns out just the flight number changed, and nothing else. My theory is, that if my airline cancels my flight through EZ Air I will be stuck finding a new flight at whatever the rate is at that time. Now that I have early ticketing, the airline will need to rebook me. At any rate, I feel better having my tickets paid for. Thanks for all your advice and thoughts.  

Just went to airlines site, and I still have reservations, just the flight number changed. Princess will still not let me do early ticketing. 

Thanks everyone! I decided to just request final payment, but when I went into my booking this morning it says "

• The flight itinerary you are trying to retrieve is not available because of a schedule change. Your flights will be updated shortly or you may search for new flights.

Guess I am too late? I hope I still have my flights, they were perfect!  

I am wondering if I should do early ticketing for our EZ Air flights in June. With the instability of oil prices, etc, I worry that flights might get moved around a lot or even cancelled due to possibility of ticket prices going higher. I am assuming that if my flights are ticketed then the airline would have to get me on new flights, versus only pre-ticketed where they can just cancel my ticket. Is that correct?  Thanks

I just tried to price my May cruise to Alaska on Expedia and it shows there are no Alaska cruises till July 1st. Why doesn't Princess just cancel!!!

I'm glad I booked most of my excursions through Princess. I do have a private whale watching tour in Juneau, and they moved my reservation to August at my request. I have only paid deposit, so would have lost that for sure, but not rest of it. Sorry you didn't get refunds and hope you get to go soon!

I'm OK with FCC for my May cruise because I have a back up cruise in August. Right now holding out for more than 100% FCC. But people who have no choice need to be offered refunds for sure!
