Half a million?
-
It is a seven day cruise but I insured the pre- and post-cruise stays for a total of 9 days. The policy paid out my actual losses which exceeded the amount I actually had "insured." I found that (strangely?) beneficial.

Looks like there are still 15 balconies available for this sailing. And wow - $129/pp for an interior.
-
So those shots of "Tequila" in the comedy were before your 15 Squishy? :p
Yes as were most of the Fireball shots. :D
-
Rooms will be available before 2pm. They have doors that close the hallways off from the elevator lobbies and all rooms are ready when those are opened.
Bags will be delivered outside your room in the hallway.

The only thing you have to worry about with getting back late from Nachi is the number of unlimited alcoholic beverages you consume. ;)
-
Thanks- but for$20 more the premium room is unlimited drinks/sodas/waters on your floor (not just during reception)
Bar drinks or just soda/water?

this. cause Texas has weird liquor laws on Sundays. while in LA, you can drive up/thru to a bar and order shots and you're given them in a Styrofoam cup and off you go! true story! LOL
Doesn't matter what day of the week it is in Galveston. Triumph departures on Saturday also must wait until day two.

So...couldn't just 1 person in the party purchase this option and the save a seat for the spouse? Or how would that work?
Yes. That is what we do.
-
You may also want to attempt contacting them through their Facebook page.

It appears to be down currently.
-
I also have ordered it for my last few cruises. I love not having to lug a case of water around.
Ditto. The convenience to me is worth the price.
-
Sad to say but the Carnival 800 number is the last place I would call to get the most up-to-date info.
-
How much is the 6 day?
It is the same per-day cost as 5 day cruises.
-
On the ships that have a category 6K, one of the cabins is designated for four and the other is for two occupants. I made sure I booked the cabin for two so as not to get "upgraded" out of the room.
-
You could also stock up on unopened bottles of beer. :)
-
As stated, prior to your 15th drink tell them you want to purchase it rather than count it against your Cheers program. You may get some pushback and you may not but it can definitely be done.

A friend of mine just had one of these on the Fascination and she loved it.

It is a 10 or 15 minute walk. We are planning visits to Poppy's Crazy Lobster, Cafe Du Monde, Cafe Pontalba, and Red Fish Grill.

We will be on the Liberty in October, anyone know anything about Gary Brierly?
Gary is a good, high-energy CD. I had him twice on the Conquest.
Looks like we will have Jen Baxter. I've never heard of her. Anyone had her in the past?Jen is one of my favorites - but you either love her or hate her. I am on the Freedom shortly after she leaves in December and I was looking forward to seeing her again. She is very approachable and doesn't mind having a martini with guests at Alchemy.

If you have a set dining time you can go see the maitre d' at around 1:00pm to check what size table you have and request a change. If you have your time dining, you may request a smaller table.

Our group is cruising out of New Orleans in October. Most are at the Crowne plaza on Canal Street.
It is pretty easy to score that one on Hotwire at a decent rate.
-
Good info to know. I have a 6K booked for over a year away and just assumed I was stuck with the price I booked it at.

Autoprogreso is also the company that will shuttle you down the long pier from the ship so they have a vested interest in ensuring your timely arrival back. I would recommend them.
Texas Duty?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

When I disembarked in Galveston it was very loosely enforced. After US Customs where was someone randomly yelling out that if you live in Texas and have cigarettes or alcohol to go over to this window. Very easy to walk right past.
