  1. I was very frustrated to learn that my son, who is not potty trained, will not be allowed to use ANY of the water amenities on the Carnival Horizon--even the kids' splash pad--because they don't have a separate filtration system for them. Does anyone know if this is the case in the kids' section of Amber Cove?
  2. thank you! But this only looks like a pool and marina. Is there a public access beach there as well?
  3. Does this mean that you can just disembark and walk to a public beach?
  4. My family is not into scuba/snorkeling/water sports or any extreme sports, so we didn't sign up for any excursions. We just want to know from people who have been there....can you just disembark and take a cab or even walk to a local beach for a few hours so the kids can play in the sand and ocean? Any beach in particular? Thanks!
  5. I am going next week, so I don't know the answer. But does your post mean that there is a walkable beach/pool area from the port?
  6. So does that mean that there's a private Carnival beach area when you get off the ship? Do you need to pay for access to it if you're a passenger?
