Just to pass on info. On June 2 when our alaska cruise 8.21.20 was cancelled as we knew it would be we transferred the reservation to next year July 23 2021. We got a refund to our boa royal card on 6.5.20. Can't figure the amounts as it does not add up to anything I can figure. Taxes and port fees pre and post transfers tips for third person etc. Just does not add up. Called and left message for our celebrity cruise planner. Will post further saga. 

We recieved a partial refund all but 244 dollars. they say it was an overpayment but will not ask for it back. Just a warning with this current rules if you cancel using cruise with confidence you wont receive your cruise care insurance returned if final payment is made.

Hello this has probably come up before. We cancelled our june 5 solstice Alaska cruise and are booked for August 5. We did it on March 13 under cruise with confidence. The problem has come up because we made final payment and had Cruise Care and cancelled prior to shut down when they offered 125% refund. We only recieved 100% future cruise credit and all outher payments made except 657.00 cruise care. Since Celebrity and not the insurance gave us a fcc why should we not get that back. cruise care only covers from start of cruise. Is this correct and does anybody know more? Since that happened I have cancelled the cruise care. if we have to postpone it again i don't want to lose 777.00 now. I am disapointed about the fcc but that is what I agreed to I can live whit that. From Captains Club and promotion we will have 700.00 on board credit so that is good. Any Body know more please enlighten me.

Recently received refunds for june 5 solstice cruise. Numbers did not add up they say it is due to cruise care not biening refunded. they are telling me that the 657 for cruise care is non refundable if cruise with cinfidence was used. they say i was overfunded. they wont be charging me back. am i wrong about no refund on cruise care. if i waited until the cruise was cancelled i would have recieved 125% fcc and all funds refunded.

Is Lenny still going to be the Michael's concierge when we board? We had him on Connie last fall. If so, I'll have to stop in and say hello. Sadly, not in the PH this cruise.

We are in a RS 5-15 and Lenny has sent us a Email and confirmed with me that he will be our Concierge for next weeks cruise. Have emailed back and forth a few times about pre cruise requests and he seems very nice. We where spoiled last year on Infinity with Kim Reed she just got off solstice last week and is home with family for a while. We still keep in contact on *book. Looking forward to meeting you next week.:)

I agree it was not there until cc brought it to there attention. I am one who are scheduled to enjoy the new suite perks 5-15-15. I do agree was a little disappointed when I heard the change but am over it. It is not that big a deal.

Has anybody looked at the information celebrity website if you click on luminea under insider tips it states very clear when the restaurant will be available.

Can you point out any two or more successive sailings that have been infected with norovirus in recent history?

Last year on Infinity it showed up on three consecutive trips and we where the third trip many times they would serve us in the buffet no salt and pepper etc. It not only can happen but it did. That being said did it worry us no did we change plans no. We are going to be on Infinity leaving San Francisco on May 15. Cleaning the ship does not clean peoples hands. It happens every day through out the world. :D

Will be happy to, but I don't get back until the 15th and am not buying the wifi pkg so you won't hear back from me until the morning of the 15th, is that okay? Is that all u need me to ask, who the Concierge is?

yes that all for now please don't waste your minutes as slow as it is it could take some time. I will be trying to do daily posts from our Alaska cruise as I plan on taking advantage of our unlimited internet package. when you get back could you also find out the speed of internet as last year it was very slow. :eek:

Guests in Royal suite and above get complimentary bev package and in parentheses it says " members choice." Anyone know what that means?

I hope it means that I'll have ice cold coors light in the room waiting for in in 36 days I will let you know.:D

Hi my wife and i are travelling on the Panama Canal Cruise 29/03/15 and we have been looking at the excursions, has any body who has been before got any advice or recommendations,we are also very interested in joining up with another couple or small group for private tours.Rick

Hello we did your exact itinerary last year and loved the ship and crew so much that we booked an Alaska cruise this year 5-15-15 in 38 days but who is counting. Don't have much info on excursions as I did a tequila tasting in mexico but it was only ok. I do have a question for you could you please find out who the Michaels club Concierge is. If you walk and tell them you are asking for a future suite member they won't let you stay but info would be great.:cool:

If they had that button for sale that made the sea pass bong noise it would be a big seller at least in our household I'd have them all aver the house.

Last April we did two stops in mexico on infinity and both had no issues although there was a military boat shadowing us near port. The only was is part of a panama canal trip.

I to am a bay area resident. I really don't think that there will be any problem as the two piers are only 1250 feet apart as I checked with google earth and measured to distance. This is probably the first cruise for celebrity since the new pier was built. We where also doing to doc dance today it was the first thing the wife noticed. She writes policy and procedure manuals for a bank and can find just about any mistake no matter how small.:rolleyes:

We have prepaid gratuity as it was included in package we got as well as half price third person as unlike cle guy I travel with my wife and her twin sister. It is not as good as it sounds as her sister has health issues that really slow us down. But we found the layout of m class royal suite gives us privacy but her close if she needs us. And she does.

Thank you I had not seen the open seating info. Our reservation still shows 6:00 early seating. Maybe the celebrity computer system can not handle royal suite updated info that should be no surprise.

Some of these may have been answered but I could not find answers. Is luminea set dinning Time or at your leisure? Does unlimited mini bar include everything like mini hard liquors? We sailed infinity shortly after Michaels club was switched over to suite guests and loved that since April 14 there have been changes. We are back on infinity after may of this year so all new changes will be in effect. Does anybody have actual menu from luminea? Not just from MDR as are being used now. And any pictures from luminea on m class ship would be great. Thanks in advance. Cle guy you have been helpful separating fact from fiction thanks.

Attempted to contact Michael club concierge you have listed Gareth Watkins he is no longer. He said Lenny is the current MCC.

Yes, that is how it shows for passenger 1 and 2 on the invoice. Does not show like that for passenger 3. On our previous sailings the MC Concierge was wonderful so I'll try to get this resolved with the reservation staff at Celebrity but if unsuccessful I'll let the MC Concierge handle it.

It show a charge for all three and a credit something like 1947.00 for 11 day cruise.

Premium drink package shows on our on line invoice as a charge and a credit for our may royal suite.

Celebrity would be well advised to listen to these types of questions and quickly establish a suite "hotline" to respond to concerns and questions about policies surrounding suite benefits...and to resolve some of the more illogical situations forced by "policy" well before the cruise...not one week before the cruise.

 

My question: When will there be a "hotline" or special email address set up for suite guests to use when considering or after booking a cruise?

We are booked a royal suite in may and have received a phone call and email from pre cruise concierge. They said they would take care of any precruise arrangements bed configuration for living room beer preference and pillow menu etc. I think some of these concerns are already taken care of.
