I was aware of life boats initial problem had not heard anything since. We are boarding on March 30 for panama out of Miami. Hope the repair does not take to long in Miami. :eek:

you miss the point completely if celebrity does not see empty venues on ship when loud music is played they will not changed. If those that don't like it just endure and complain nothing will change. :mad: I choose to go to my cabin to listen to the kind of music I like as most areas of ship do not. I would always prefer no music at all than elevator music. Acid rock is as objectionable as opera. Neither do I want to have so loud I cant get away from It. I do not cruise for the Music being played on the ship. :(

This subject has been beat to death. If you don't like the volume leave the area or go back to your cabin if you are one that has a hole in the wall cabin maybe you should choose a cabin with a little more room so you can choose your personal flavor of music. Celebrity is catering to what the majority want. When there is no one in a particular area celebrity will change. Until then choose by walking out if you don't like it leave. At home it is a constant argument because I prefer music loud enough I can hear it not the people talking. Yes I have some hearing loss for 30 years in auto and machine shops. :eek::confused:

Thank you gonzo 70 you stated what thought. I checked the TSA Web site and medications do not need to be in original containers however they noted like you some states have more stringent rules. We fly out of SFO most likely most stringent being ca. I will leave all pills in devided case except hydrcodone will be in RX container.

I checked and found the previous post for cc cocktails and enjoyed that the Chilean chardonnay they serve is called Santa hellena. Can,t help but think they were going for close mach name to st. Helena that's where I work. Just so you don't think that means I'm a wine snob we like Sutter home white zinfandel.

does anybody have the list of captains club drinks that are offered with the vouchers or during cocktail hour. I am not picky but just wondering if my favorite beer is available etc.:D

The link shows aqualina you mentioned another brand since they serve coke and aquafina is their filtered water brand that is what I,m assuming they must serve.

I have the question about bottled water in the rooms do they offer aquafina or arrowhead etc. In the rooms or only at a bar. The question applies to suites. Rccl offers a bottled water package I believe perrie a case at a time does celebrity offer this. I don't need fancy water but need to drink 2 quarts per day.

You won,t have access to the link to order tags until your edocs are ready. I,m sailing march 30 and had to call captains club for them to expedite and it only took 4 minutes. 2 hours later my edoc email was there.

Just called captains club at noon PST total call time 4 minutes and already received edocs was told would take 48 hours. Much better to be suprised with faster than not at all. Thanks cc

I woke up this morning and turned on my webcam feed for fll and allure was not there had to do a little research to figure out how I lost her. She is kinda big to louse. then I found this thread and checked her track found out she is on her way to dry dock for repairs. She had already unloaded people and on her way to Freeport for dry dock. Hope they don't run into problems and is back in fll for next sunday.:eek:

I am sailing on march 30th from miami and do not have my e-docs and can not order our luggage tags either. I called captains club and they informed me that if you use select air it may take a little longer as they have to receive info back from airlines prior to edocs being issued. I don't know how you don't need e docs as transfers hotel voucher and airline info is in the e-docs. if you don't print them what do you give bus driver or hotel or airline.:confused:

I thought that you should have received e-docs 6-7 weeks prior to cruise with detailed info. In the past they would mail them but that now costs $. If you have not received e-docs you can't order luggage tags. I would be worried if I had not received anything from celebrity by 10 days prior to my cruise. I am scheduled for 3-30 cruise and have called to verify everything is ok with mine they said delay for me was custom air docs not received back from airline. I would make a call to celebrity and just so you know if you call captains club it is much faster than main line.:eek:

We have stayed in a owner suite on radiance and there was plenty of room for my wife and I and her twin sister. there is a very heavy curtain that seperates the bedroom and offers good privacy for the bedroom. We all stay together a lot so we have worked out bathroom schedules so that never becomes an issue. The balcony is much smaller than grand suite has. we have stayed in numerous grand suites and they work well for us but only has a tub shower that is not good for my sil as she has some medical issues. the separate shower is very nice in the owner suite. There is plenty of storage space as we still had empty draws with all three of us and plenty of closet space. We are trying a royal suite on a celebrity m class ship next month we will see how they compare. hope this helps.:o

yes it is refunded as we had some left over not very much but received cash back from ship.:D

I understand all the very good reasons why the call centers could be ovrwhelemed with calls at any one time as in the past my normal wait time is less than 5 minutes. I don't blame them for under staffing etc. I think it is an abnormal situation no one could have forseen. What I don't understand is a phone system that has several major flaws Number 1 does not accurately track number of calls ahead of you so you can decide to wait or not. number 2 yesterday when holding after 30 minutes on hold the phone rang once and hung up on me. number 3 they have a system that will call you back why cant it not call back until there is someone to help you. I tried it and it called me back in 10 seconds and then i was back on hold. there are some basic improvements that would make me feel better about the long wait and maybe a explanation instead of just a statement that there are longer than normal wait times due to high volume of calls. just my opinion but it would at least not make you as frustrated.:rolleyes:

This is just my own opinion so don't shoot the messenger. As a rccl diamond member I like the changes to the suite guest packages. Yes we stay in suites on rccl. We are Elite members with celebrity and are staying in a royal suite for panama canal trip march 30 so the changes won't effect me this year. It will be a reason to come back to celebrity in the future. I consider my self a redneck so I don't know about what class that puts me in. I pay more for my suite and share it with my wife and her twin sister so we are splitting the cost it is still cheaper than two balcony rooms. I like the changes and will patronize celebrity more frequently because of it. We do drink but not enough for any of it to make a difference. between the cocktail hours drinks already in the room etc don't think we would hit the beverage package very hard. I accept that the total price will go up but can not imagine more that 10 % that would be less that the beverage package alone. looking forward to the upgrades. I do not believe that I am any better than anyone else but just enjoy the little extra things but I don't treat anybody any different than i expect to be treated. I go on cruises to enjoy myself without insulting anyone else.:D

did you ask someone as that does not seam right. There website still shows complimentary 24 hour room service. Not to say that website could be behind the times and I don't believe everything they say anyway. Just asking:eek:

my wife tried but said every time she tried it showed 0$ balance and would not let her choose anything. They did not send it to me maybe they knew she was the shopper.;)

We are about to go on our first celebrity cruise. We have been loyal royals so far. They started charging for room service in the middle of the night a few years a go and it does not effect me as I really don't need 2 am snacks and dw would probably not allow me to any way. Did they have free room service but only some items? could you elaborate as not sure what you mean.:confused:

has anyone else received an email from celebrity about a market place credit from pre-cruise purchases and is it for real and does anyone have any expierence with it. sounds like something new.:confused:

Question is the cc. Host similar to conceirge with royal if so we have had excellent service above and beyond. Willy on radience was assume and we tipped him 50 at the end of our cruise. We still are in contact with him. On infinity for panama not sure if butler will do what he does. Still not sure about someone else unpacking my tighty whiteys.

We booked a 8 day southern Caribbean on rccl and 9 months out the ship was chartered. We where able to rebook keep our obc and go from grand suite to owners suite on rccl. And after all said and done we got cruise credits for two cruises at once and to this day they won't fix that. Oh well more credits for us.
