We did park and cruise at the Doubleday back in March,
No problems. The place seemed OK to me. Bed was fine. Property was clean.
Just need to remember to sign up for the shuttle when you check in.

We're taking our kids on their first cruise. Daughter in law was wondering what, if any, non-dairy options are available for her coffee. She's really wondering about the free coffee options. Thanks for help.

How does one go about applying for this match?

Just got an email about our upcoming cruise on Discovery. They talked about a White & Gold Night that's on the 2nd Formal NIght. Does anyone know what goes on during the White & Gold Night?

Maybe use ParkSleepHotels to find out which hotels offer this service, and then directly contacting them would be the way to go.

We would LOVE to do a cooking class in PV. How long did you spend together? Would someone in a wheelchair be able to participate? Did they transport you to/from the port?
I think a wheelchair would be ok. I don't remember any steps. I think we had 4 - 6 hours between the mercado and the chef's home. No transport from the ship, I think that they might have met us across the street at the mall.

Plenty of taxis at the port. The one's in the actual port area are federally licensed and are a bit more expensive than the one's outside the port area. There's always Uber. You might need to walk across the street to Wal-mart.

Can this be used by suite guests also?
Yes

We did this several years ago. Definitely one of the better excursions we've done.

Stay on the ship?

Got it early AM on disembarkation day.

Purser's desk will take care of it easy peasy. It took about 2 minutes, if that. They just put a new sticker on the front.

The website currently states that it is now a nonrefundable charge to a credit card at time of booking.

I looked into the testing being done at the port by DocGo. It is now a $100 nonrefundable charge to a credit card at time of booking. I was thinking of using this as a backup to BeeperMD, but with a nonrefundable charge probably won't.

Flavor Teller does a very nice food tour in Mazatlán. We've done it a couple of time and enjoyed it each time.
In addition to Vallarta Food Tours, there's also Vallarta Eats. We've used both and they're both very good.

The only negative is that the seas can be a bit rough the last day or two coming back to SF. Going against the current and all.

Get a Coleman air mattress pump. It's battery operated.

It's been a while, let's see what I can remember. It's traditional second breakfast foods. First breakfast being sweet rolls and such. Have a little to eat in the morning, but not too much. There's lot's to eat on the tour.
There were several types of tacos, pork, beef, chicken along with a broth. Kudo's to Mr. Venom.
There were fresh corn tortillas.
Chiliquiles.
Smoked marlin is the best.
There was craft beers from a local microbrewery.
There's quite a bit more, but that's all I can remember.
One of my favorite tours.

Don't forget about playing the cool little adventure game on some of the big panels. It's kind of a treasure hunt. A good way to learn your way around the ship and have some fun. We got a MedalionNet t-shirt upon completion.

Yes, the Love Boat Dream is still there. Never buy drink packages, so I can't answer part 2.

Sky Princess Mini Suite Sofa Bed
in Princess Cruises
Posted
On our recent cruise on the Discovery, the sofa bed wasn't the traditional pull-out. It was more of a pull-up. It was a twin size bed that raised up from the sofa. So, it had the same footprint as the sofa itself.
