  1. We are going to be Sailing on HOTS.  The deluxe drink package is $1288 for 2 people if we purchase before sailing,  We currently bought the soda package.  Is it possible to upgrade to the Deluxe Beverage Package once on board and if so does anyone know 1.  the price (appx of course) 2.  if the amount we paid for the soda package would be credited towards the cost of the upgrade.

    Thanks in advance

I hope that you keep us updated on how this all works out.  We are travelling R/T Orlando to Rome in 2023, and am curious as to what kind of flights NCL is booking....we'll have a 2 day deviation on each end and will have to make car parking & hotel arrangements if necessary.

Got our flights today.  We are on Delta.  MCO to Atlanta - Atlanta to Rome.  Same on the return.  We leave Orlando at 130pm and get to Rome at 850am.  Home we leave Rome at 10am back to Orlando at 7pm.  Very happy with these flights.  My mother in law ended up with aircanada and she has to pay for seats and they still have mask requirements during flights and in airport.

  3. our cruise is in 31 days and we still have not received our flight info - we are flying from florida to rome so its an international flight.  we have gotten some emails from aircanada with flight info that would coincide with the trip but NCL told us that its just a placeholder when i called them about seat selection.  Seat Selection is a big one for me as i dont want to sit next to a stranger for 9 hours.  hoping to hear something soon.

  4. I'm getting nervous.  Our cruise leaves August 13th from Rome and no flights yet.  I've gotten an email from aircanada about flights but have been told they aren't ticketed and just place holders.  Right now if it becomes our flight it's orlando to Montreal a 5 hour layover and then Montreal to Rome.  Not happy about it being aircanada as that's a very long time to be in a mask.  The flights require them and the airport.  Guess it's the price you pay for traveling in the world at this time.

Like Casofilia already replied - the time is from leaving the ship until back on the pier.

    Just a tip for you:

I have done this tour in the past through NCL (both wiht guide included and "on your own"), and as it only provides transportation from the ship the entrance gate of Pompeii and back to the ship on the "on your own" tour, and NOT entrance tickets, it is recommendable to pre-purchase entrance tickets online. Otherwise you may risk to stand in line for tickets for a loooooong time. Pompeii is also one of the sights where it is recommended to have a guide explaining everything.

The guides that are offering their services at the entrance of Pompeii are all official Pompeii tour guides, and we just asked "strangers" who were also standing in line to buy entrance tickets if they would like to "share a guide". We ended up with a total of 10 persons and paid only €10 per person for the guide - who was excellent, by the way...

And yes - plenty of time for a pizza when you are back in Naples.

Awesome thanks so much.  I was researching the tickets to get them in advance and there is one on the website that includes the guide, are you saying i dont have to purchase that ticket and that there will be guides at the site (it would be cheaper to pay the the additional 10euros as i think its 20 more on the website to buy the guides services that way)

Pizza is the must do thing on this port but we also said we wont be back so we need to see pompeii as well and then got nervous about not being able to have pizza.

thanks for calming me down 🙂

  6. Does anyone have any info on this tour.  We are hoping to do this and still have time to grab some pizza in naples.  We are in port 7am to 5pm.  It says the tour is 4 hours.  So just curious is it 4 hours from when you board the bus at the port or from when you get to pompeii.  Thanks

There was a lady at a table on the second floor of the restaurant making changes. We went there after boarding and our first mimosa.

Thanks i will grab a drink and go see here.  I think I might have to stop at guess services too because my new e-ticket doesnt show the all in package but the booking confirmation does and MSC call center has been no help.  But no stress this is a vacation 🙂

When we booked, I originally booked a late dining.  Found out after my friend preferred early.  We did call and change it.  When we won our upgrade I noticed we were late dining.  I assumed the change had not been made but maybe the same thing that happened to you.

When we got on board we went to the restaurant and changed to early.  No issues.

Thank you so much, we leave on thursday so i will just check then.

  9. Has anyone else had a problem with their E-ticket.  We are booked under the All in Drinks and Wifi package.  We have booked this package on other sailings.  For our current sailing that leaves next week on Divina the drinks and wifi are not showing in my E-ticket.  It is on my booking confirmation.  I have called several times and MSC tells me they dont need to be in the E-ticket since its on the reservation.  I dont want to have any trouble getting a drink when I get on board, has anyone else notice this.  I saw in other groups where people called and MSC updated it but everyone I spoke with at MSC has told me that it does not need to be in your E-ticket, even though the E-Ticket says if you are missing any pre-purchased information to call them.  I am so confused.  Thanks for the help

  10. Has anyone had their dining time changed when they won an upgrade?  We were just notified our bid for an upgrade was accepted but they have since changed us from the first seating to the second seating.  Is this normal, I never won an upgrade on MSC before.  Thanks

No. And Thanksgiving has a different date all around the world for a obvious reason 😉

But as MSC USA now seems to be allowed to do more and more their own thing there should be a Turkey on the menu für US Thanksgiving. Especially when no other nationalities are allowed anyway.

We were on seaside for Thanksgiving 2018 and they served turkey on Thanksgiving day
