Barcelona. We enjoyed our stop on a med cruise and wanted more. Celebrity runs an awesome western med cruise. We love the chef market place and dinner tour. Really worth it.

They start allowing shorts for dinner is the day I stop cruising.

As our first Celebrity cruise is approaching, I am feeling apprehensive. The discussions on CC lead me to believe that there is a definite "class" system on Celebrity, and I am worried that I am going to be feeling like a "steerage" passenger with my verandah stateroom. Can anyone out there give me any information to ease these uncomfortable feelings?
We have been in suites and standard rooms on Celebrity. You are treated the same everywhere outside of the suite perk areas.

It was ok in our book. The one issue we had it started late because they were waiting for guests to show. Honestly, preferred Qsine as you could repeat and have something new.

I think that Porshe should build cruise ships. You could cruise at 100 MPH and cut out all of the sea days and see more ports. 🙂
They could call them ms Fast and ms FasterThan#### or
schneller als die Hölle
Time to go gas up my ... rhymes with Texas. 🙂
lol! I need sea days for the casino and sleeping in!

We took one cruise on NCL. We thought the food overall was a notch below Celebrity

Oh Luminae does corn beef hash now ? Wonder if it’s like this on all the ships.

We have really enjoyed Seabourn and their smaller ships. We have found some excellent values and enjoy them very much. Currently we are on Crystal. Absolutely are not enjoying their line or ship at all. The cabins are small, the food mediocre, and the customer is very elderly. We are leaving the cruise on our own in a couple of hours in Cabo and spending a few days there before going home.
I guess at this point we will stick with Seabourn or go back on the Paul Gauguin again eventually.
QuotePlease do a review. You seem really unhappy with Crystal and I’m sure more people would gai knowledge. You have us rethinking our cruise with such strong opinions.

We are on the first leg of the Crystal Serenity World Cruise. Miami to LA. I recommend you reconsider. We are hardly teenagers, but this ship is such a disappointment. People are not friendly, the passenger is very elderly. The food is mediocre. Check out the new owner of Crystal. Before you spend this much money, reconsider...we are getting off today in Cabo and not going on.
I would hate for anyone to find out this wasn’t for them.
We will definitely reach out to you. Thank you for your mention. Or feel free to private message us. 🙂

MDR can be hit or miss. Mostly it’s fine but I see nothing wrong with your strategy. On one cruise with a balcony we ate in the MDR two times. The speciality restaurants were that much better. At times I also thought the lunch buffet was better than the MDR.

Doing a Crystal cruise next. Mainly we wanted to try something else. I’m looking forward to the revolution as we have a 2022 cruise booked. I’ve only been unhappy once on Celebrity and that was a casino issue.

Al Bacio is probably one of my most favorite spots on the ship. Love the seating area specially while in port.

My nephew was around 7 or 8. He enjoyed the kids club on Celebrity.

We ask them to do more. Our first butler we were hesitant to ask for things. Our last one would get us drinks. During the Hubbard glacier viewing he got us spiked coffee and coco. 😉

We have sailed 5x on Celebrity. 3 have been a suite Alaska,Caribbean and Mediterranean. We really enjoy the food and service in Luminae and Michaels Club is fantastic. 2 of the 3 suites we felt our butler was fantastic. It was probably our own fault for the first one not being so good. We really didn’t know how to utilize him. Once you start pricing Celebrity suites you are approaching a Crystal cruise pricing. We are taking a 2021 Panama cruise on Crystal and we have a 2022 South America cruise in a suite booked on Celebrity.
We think what you get in a Celebrity suite is a great product.

in Celebrity Cruises

I need to wear a mask on any vacation. I won’t do it.
