American Icon. We have 10 nights so enough time for them all and the Chef's Table.
-
At the moment, the policy is D+ and/or with GS and above will have access. If they're going to be making a change we should know soon.
My guess is they will not make any changes initially, but, that the lounge will soon be for suite guests only. Probably 1/1/16. That gives a year for people to experience the quantum, work out the wrinkles, and Anthem to be in service.
I can't imagine they would not have a lounge for D+ and above ??

We are on the starboard side. I am not worried about *traffic* I am sure they have thought that through. On our cruise their will most likely be more Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Members on board that usual. The more the merrier! Do you think the Pinnacle Members will have their own as on the Oasis and Allure?

Thanks for the update! We booked on that deck specifically to be near the Concierge Lounge.

If you have a service in the spa do you get access to the Sanctuary?
-
We are totally in but we do dine in a lot of specialty restaurants no matter who we cruise with as dining is very important to our definition of a great vacation. We will actually save $$ on our 10 days on board as we paid for wonderland for 2 times and Jamie's 2 times. All the rest including Coastal Kitchen is complementary! We will reserve the Chef's Table as soon as it is available. All our reservations are done.

Thank you for posting the menu's. We were having a hard time finding out if the Breakaway Haven was serving Dinner. Appreciate it!

Yes, doing a B2B they will deliver to your stateroom. The ship is closing its books for that itinerary. Your shipboard account will close and you will be issued new keys and a new account. You will also disembark and embark although it may be a walk off and on. You are technically on a new sailing although your "stuff" including purchases remains safely aboard waiting for your arrival for your second week of onboard bliss!

Thanks for the nice PINK pic! Has anyone recently done the Chefs Table on the Splendor?
-
There is dancing in the atrium area for sure. I have seen people dressed up and dancing every night. Carnival is pretty good about having live music in different venues. Bring your dancing shoes!

I would like to know where they have the Chefs Table on the Splendor. Is it in the Galley or ??? How did you enjoy it? We have done several CT's including the 1st one on the Magic inaugural, which was amazing..

Hi Dubrovnik Lady! We will be arriving on the Carnival Magic Tuesday, May 3rd. Where will we be docked? I love reading your replies to everyone's questions. You are always so helpful and with such a great attitude, considering how many of us rely on you. If we want to walk the sea-side of the wall, which entrance is best for this? And can you walk into town from any point from the wall or do you have to get to a certain point? Thanks so much! :)
Hi Magic people. I saw your post as I was searching for hints for Dubrovnik. We are sailing on the same ship! Please come join our roll call for this sailing. We have a very active group, some get togethers planned. A wine crawl, etc. Pop over and say hi and we will see you onboard! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1124771&page=162

Here are some photos to 17030. We loved this suite. 4 adults who are good friends shared it. Our son stayed in a studio and was given a villa/suite key with no problem so he could access us and the complex at anytime. It is where the action is and can be fun and a bit noisy when the doors to the balcony are open but completely noiseless when closed. It was a lot of fun to be able to watch and hear all the music from our extra large balcony while not being in the middle of it. We even sat on our balcony in comfort during a tropical rainstorm while we watched everyone on the pool deck run off the deck.
The BATHROOM is the bomb !!! tub in the corner with windows on 2 sides.
You can find the photos at picasaweb dot google dot com backslash realcruises

Can someone clarify what the specialty restaurant options are for both suite guests and non suite guests now?
Who is allowed to dine in them, How many nights, Is there a charge at all or it gratuities only? I know what Azamara says but am curious how it actually shakes out onboard.
Any dishes in your opinion are not to be missed?
We are sailing on the Journey in Dec.
Thanks, Nancy

I have been waiting also. I will be sailing in 17030 a week from Saturday so I will report back. There will be plenty of photos. I am traveling with a group of 850 TA's we have booked a lot of the suites. I will see if I can get a peek or photos of both. I don't think noise has been a problem.. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know specifically.

any updates on suite 17030
I am still searching for reviews as well !!!

Really appreciate you taking the time to research and post such a thorough review of each of the suites. We have had 17030 booked for 4 of us and sounds perfect !!! One thing our other couple REALLY wanted was a balcony and I guess we lucked out when we looked at the deck plans, closed our eyes and picked!
Sounds like you really enjoyed the ship and we will find out in October!

If you want to play make sure you get there early and get some seats right up front even if you have to go to the event before quest! It makes it much more fun and you will be quicker and right in the middle of the action!!! Have a great time!!! Oh, and you need 2 guys who are fun to play with you!
-
They are all correct. It is something you have to experience. You can't explain it.................LOL

What is the Jackpot up to today??????? hehe

How about the horn blowing as they are casting off lines for sailaway and finding HENRY!
Where are you going to dine the first night you're on Quantum?
in Royal Caribbean International

I tend to agree with this. The Grande is supposed to be just that. A formal restaurant where everyone is in formal/cocktail attire. I think if you don't want to dress, even on the first night then choose somewhere else to dine.
I haven't gone the Black Tie/Formal route in a long time but we are for this restaurant. I would be disappointed if there were people in the dining room casually dressed. Including *smart* casual or resort wear.
