Thank you both! Looking at the M class cabin 6030 info it looks quiet and unobstructed so I think I’ll go for it!

We’ve booked this room for December…hope it’s good!!

I would suggest that you get Tom’s Port Guide. It can be downloaded from the internet. It’s a great guide on how to get around the port. He has several ports that he offers the guide and the best part is it’s free.

We got lots of spices and chocolate on our visit to Grenada in December.

Wow Tom's Guide is very informative! Thanks for the tip!!

The original poster for the guide did mention before that only a gmail address work. "I tried, however Google rejected it because your email is not associated with any google account and that is the one way to use MAPS or DRIVE in google."

Sorry I missed the gmail part.
    please send to Just4mattd@gmail.com

     thanks!!

We will be back on the 7th and I'll try to remember to come comment after that. If you are going in March though you may want to get this booked based on other reviews you can find on here. I do believe they sell out some days as it is a private run tour with only so many spots. I found lots of great reviews before booking on here and tripadvisor

We are already booked! Love hearing what I have to look forward to. Also any must take, fo, see advice is always treasured!! ENJOY your trip!!

We recently returned from our 11-day holiday cruise and it made a stop at Dominica. I had never been to this island before so this forum was helpful in giving me some ideas and vendors to reach out to.

We ended up selecting Bumpiing Tours with Levi and I cannot say enough good things about it! The communication from the start was very good - he let us know what tours were available for the day we will be there and I had some back and forth with him on gear needed and he was always responsive.

We selected the Roseau Valley Treasures tour which included Champagne Reef Snorkel, Titou Gorge, Trafalger Falls, Botanical Gardens (drive through) and Morne Bruce. It was the perfect itinerary to see all the highlights of the island. You can tell Levi loves his country and is passionate about showing everyone what a beautiful country it is. We had our 8 year old with us and he was attentive to make sure he felt safe getting in and out of the water, hiking, etc. We had a group of about 10 which was perfect. Titou Gorge was truly the highlight - so beautiful and tranquil - highly recommend that including that in your stop.

I can honestly say it was the best tour we went on throughout the cruise so don't hesitate to book with Levi (levibaron@bumpiingtours.com). Cost was VERY reasonable as well - $55 for adults and $45 for kids and we tipped as well. Beer and water included.

Can you tell me how long the tour was?

We were there a few years ago and we enjoyed our day there. Very pretty beach! But, I'm not sure how it is after the hurricane and rebuilding. At the time we were there, there wasn't a drop off and it was a rather nice sandy beach with a sandy entrance.

If you are interested, my review is located HERE and there's tons of pictures.

great info, looks like everyone had a fun day. How was the snorkeling? Thanks for taking the time to post this!!

One can take taxi to Mullet in the morning.

    Enjoy less crowded reasonable beach.

After few hours (planes start coming after 1:30 pm) walk to maho

    (use google maps)

    Enjoy plane watching.

Getting taxi back from Maho should be easy.

how far is the walk from Mullet to Maho?

it did, here's the story on my link above

i'm new to X. began researching only 2 weeks ago and i'm crazy about details so i dont just book willy nilly. i research every aspect of the ship and cabins. missed the sale last week but yesterday saw verandas were almost down to nothing for my bermuda trip on summit and emailed my TA to hold one. in that short time he said N/A but i held another one for me instead, and even the other ones a deck down all disappeared at once. weird! still i really wanted that location. today i watched the cabins many times every hour. finally one popped up where i wanted. called him and he got it

i got my confirmation booking. all is well.

then after lunch today, i saw prices dropped. i emailed him and he got me 4th perk free instead of just the 3 from yesterday. but at his discount price. obviously i'm happy. good location. all the perks back and only penalized 235 for waiting a week to book. i can live with it.

then a little while later, he calls me and says celebrity wants that cabin back. someone else was doing a cancel and rebook and i got it in that time it took that they did not follow through and rebook it. talk about crazy luck!.  i thought he was gonna tell me i have no cabin since i knew the one i just released got snagged up right away.  but he said they will give me CC and turns out it has an angled balcony (unsure if that was their intent or not). he ran thru the list of perks because i really didnt ever research CC because it was out of my price range and i said well, at same price id be a fool not to take it. so i got it and got confirmation! this is $800 more on my trip so it's a sweet deal and i cannot believe the luck i've had. i do wonder what if i did say no i wont give up that other cabin? or why they didnt just give it to the other person? not complaining! just curious.

lets hope no more hiccups. dont think i can take it 🛳️

looks like your persistence paid off...Enjoy Bermuda and the Summit!!

Just to make 100% clear, that statement says that 20% will be added to the price of the package at checkout when you buy the package. You do not pay any further gratuity when consuming drinks within the package limits.

I was concerned about this too! My TA and I both called X, the beverage package perk INCLUDES gratuity. You will NOT pay anything!

We had only about 15min minutes to spare before the boat would leave after our island tour but used the time wisely to walk around the little village quickly but also to get some ice cream from a local shop. This sweetened the boat ride back to the cruise ship pier and as usual, going back felt much quicker than going to St. John.

We quickly ate something for lunch and went to deck 4 to enjoy the quiet time on one of the loungers.
This area would never really be crowded and was always a spot full of serenity for us on each of the coming days.
mit also came in handy for the frequent rain showers since it was covered and we wouldn’t get wet.

Dinner was also a quick affair in the Oceanview Cafe and after a nice sunset, we fell into our very comfortable beds and that was a wrap for our first real vacation day.
