1. So, I don't have to book tickets in advance right? I can just go to the ferry booth and book the moment I get off the cruise ship?? Can you please share the directions on how to get to the Stavanger Ferry from the cruise port? Thanks!
  2. Does anyone have any copies of the 2018 menus for the Escape’s main dining room?
  3. Interesting! We are on Feb. 10th sailing but no mention of that date in the email either...just the other dates in Feb? Does that mean we are or aren't on the revised itinerary? Hmm?
  4. Hi. My family and I are going on Norwegian getaway this weekend. This is the first time on Norwegian. We have done several other cruise lines and never had a problem wearing sandals in the dining room. Looking on the website, it says only closed toe shoes allowed. Is this a strict practice or can we continue to wear sandals like on past cruises. Thanks, Barb

Need help deciding on a beach
There were four of us. We had cocktails for the ladies, beers for the men, shared a couple of appetisers, had a main course each and shared a dessert and had a lounger per couple Total was around $400us Inc tip. As I said well worth it... We had paid a similar amount for a full day tour in St. Lucia and felt we had just as much value for money for each. I would go back in a heart beat! Beach is lovely, water drops off quite quickly but I would assume your children are swimmers so they would be fine. There weren't any children there when we visited but I'm not aware of any restrictions. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome! Thanks for the info. I'll wait to hear back from Lance and go from there? Your pics look amazing!

Need help deciding on a beach
you can order what you wish from the menu. There is something for all tastes, but it is definitely a higher end price wise....but worth every penny! some menu items are available to be served on the beach. we dried off a bit and wore cover ups for lunch as we wanted to go back into the water afterwards! there are facilities to change if you prefer. sunbeds were $10 for those that had lunch reservations. there were 2 sittings for lunch, noon and 2pm. we ate at noon nut arrived around 10:15 and enjoyed the beach before hand. It was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend it.
Hi there. We'll be there in February. I just emailed JO's. If you don't mind me asking, what would lunch run you? Is this a suitable place to go with 2 we'll behaved kids (11&8)? Thanks :)

    Canadian cruisers!!

Thanks to all of you for helping me with this! I just called, got the email confirmation! $499 (that's the max they allowed me to add to obc) and it cost $548!!! That's just insane!!!! Wow! I wonder if I could add more than the $499 if I call again another time before my cruise or if the $499 is the absolute limit? Thank you all so much!!! Barb :)

    Canadian cruisers!!

Thanks to all of you who responded. Once I call in and put the obc on my account the amount will get charged to my credit card. So for example if I put $200 obc, then my cdn credit card will charge me the daily exchange rate? Correct? Or am I missing something? Or do I need a US credit card? Just want to be sure I understand how it works. Thanks all :)

    Canadian cruisers!!

Hi There, Quick question...can someone walk me through step by step what I need to do to apply an on board credit and take advantage of this great exchange rate? I called the 1800 number and the fellow on the phone was not helpful. They then transferred me to Gift and Gears and the office is closed for holidays. Any idea on how I can add this to my account? Thanks

Eagle Beach and how to get there?

Hi My family of 4 is looking to go to Eagle Beach on our port day in Aruba. How do I get there ? I have been reading that that bus there is cheap. Is this easy to do or complicated? Please let me know what the best option is on how to get there and any specifics on what to tell the cab driver or bus driver? Is there a specific resort I should be looking at? I have read about Amsterdam Manor?? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks :)

Blue Bay Beach - how to get there?

Hi, We will be in Curacao from 8am to 1pm on a port day. We would like to head to Blue Bay Beach. 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 8 years old). How do we get there, how far is it from port and if it's by taxi how much should we expect to pay for the 4 of us? We were thinking of leaving the ship early in the AM and then spend all the time at the beach before heading back to the ship. Please let me know your thoughts. thanks :)
