We will be sailing on the Allure December 4th .

This may be an odd question but wondering if there are any bars on the Allure that would be able to show a soccer match. Our MLS team from Toronto is in the finals again Seattle on December 10th and my wife and I would love to watch it the match.

Any idea?

Do you get the same perks with the sky loft suite?

The Sky Loft Balcony Suite is part of the Star Class so yes you would get the same perks. The RCL website has all the specifics

What ATS do you have? We will be in 9730 in March. I will be interested to see how you enjoy the room and the perks. My husband and I had a Sky Loft Suite in May after the program started and enjoyed it very much. I have also noticed the perks list has decreased since May. Will you come back and let us know how your experience was? Have a great trip.

We will be in room 9330 (opposite side of you I believe). I will definitely come back and update our experience and try and keep note of everything that is and is not the included in the Star Class.

Yes. Mini fridge was stocked with the non-alcoholic items we asked for. There was no beer in there [maybe cause it is kind of small and we had other requests filling it], but there was a bucket of the beer upon arrival and they brought buckets throughout the cruise on request.

Thank you for this. I will at least ask to stock the fridge with some beer when the time comes and will see what he/she says.

We were on the Oasis not Allure. We were in the Grand Loft Suite. Our Genie arranged to have specific beers delivered to our room for football nights.

 

Starbucks was complimentary for us.

 

Our entire Star Class service was excellent.

 

Enjoy the two bedroom Aqua Theater Suite. We've been trying to get one of those but they must sell out quickly.

At the time of booking we were first told we could not get the room because we only had 4 people but after a little while she confirmed that we could. Glad I will have cold beer to enjoy on the balcony.

I was on the Allure Oct. 2nd. The laundry/pressing is still included. I used it A LOT!

Hello all.

I have been reading this forum for several months now soaking in as much as I can on RCL in general and any tidbits people have given on there experiences sailing on the Allure. This will be our first time on the Allure Our recent cruises have all been on Dinsey.

My wife, 2 kids and I are staying in the ATS 2 bedroom suite and are all getting pretty excited. We received our first email yesterday from Genie headquarters and boy some of those questions are specific (three things we would bring on a deserted island? HA). Anyway, once we completed our survey, we went onto the RCL website for a refresher on what is included with the Star class. It may be just us but the overall listing of included items seems to have dwindled. For example, there is no mention of laundry care or clothes pressing on the overall list. Have others noticed this? It seems to be me when we first booked this room just over a year ago, the listing was enormous.

Has anyone recently stayed in a Star class suite that can confirm any of this? Much appreciated.

Does this room have a murphy bed in the living room? I believe it does but just wanted to confirm! Any other reviews on this room would be greatly appreciated!:)

We are just off the Oasis in 1720. Someone asked about beer being in the mini fridge. On our initial survey we were asked what kind of Coke beverages we would like and also asked if we would like a red or white or sparking wine. I indicated that I like Pino Noir but that my husband likes Blue Moon. The fridge was stocked with 6 on the second day and they brought 6 every day after. We were not drinking them all and asked both Israel and our stateroom attendant to ask have it stopped. They kept showing up! I think we had 26 on the counter by the end of the cruise. Ask and you may get it.

That was me who asked. We will be in a ATS (A1) in December and I do not drink soft drinks but do drink beer. Love the idea of having beer and water in our mini fridge plus a bottle of Cabarnet on hand. Typically my wife and I like to stay up later and hang out on be balcony when the kids are asleep...

I will be in one too (9330 in December). Being that this will be the first time on this ship, bars are plenty I am sure? I also heard that Sierra Nevada was stocked? Looking forward to it.

Yes, my understanding is that the Star Class suites are escorted directly on the ship and the rooms are ready. Baggage arrives soon after (sometimes before from previous trip reports!). Not sure if it is the same for the other suite classes.:)

We (three) got off the Allure Aqua suite 9330. Our Genie Susan was terrific and we tipped 350.00. We gave 100. the first day 100. after a big meal served in our suite for six and 150.00 the last day. We sailed May 1st to the 8th. Penny

We will be in this exact room on December 4th. Will be my wife and I and two kids (7 and 11). Just so I am clear, you gave separate amounts throughout the week? So $100 to start and so on.....Did you like the room?

There is a separate check in line as well as a lounge. It's just to the right of all of the check in lines I believe.

My son has a "hidden" disability in that he has had foot surgery and has some trouble walking long distances (due to a condition with his spinal cord that he was born with). Sometimes it is helpful for him to sit in the shower (though not always necessary). We book an ADA cabin, and have no problem providing proof or answering questions for his disability which is not always evident to people. Having said that, my son rides the slides, does pretty much any excursion that is open to him and is a very active kid. He is free to do any of that and we are thrilled that he can!!! Just because you may need an ADA cabin doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to participate in any activity that you are able to and that certainly doesn't mean "having your cake and eating it too".

Princess is pretty good about this. My son wore pull-ups two years ago- there were no issues, but they told us if there was, they would just page us. This year and the last year, he was fine, but we still had a pager just in case.

FYI, you get a pager regardless of whether your kids are potty-trained or not. Everyone gets one!
