Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. "Add Security Photo" button just popped up yesterday on the home page of Navigator, 8 days out from sailing. Located at top, between Boarding Pass and FAQ buttons.
  2. Do you need to upload a picture to the navigator app in order to utilize the facial recognition check in during embarkation? I called customer service and they couldn't answer how or where, telling me to contact Navigator support by email. They have not responded. I haven't been able to locate anywhere for an upload. We sail in 12 days, so thinking maybe that service pops up closer to departure.
  3. Looking to verify that we do not need to fill out any forms prior to cruising to Aruba for a single port day (and Curacao too). I believe I read on one Aruba government site that you do not need an ED digital card if staying less than 24 hours but haven't seen anything particularly specific to cruise passengers. I've found even less regarding Curacao or Colombia. Anyone stopped there recently, and were you required any additional forms other than your passport?
  4. Treating ourselves to a Retreat Cabana on our upcoming 11 day Eurodam cruise. First time doing this and looking for tipping suggestions. Are the workers assigned for the cruise duration, or do they rotate out daily? When we order room service we always tip upon delivery to the individual. Should we show appreciation daily for exceptional service, or wait until the end and tip accordingly? Don't want to slight anyone.
  5. Thanks for the responses, I did try getting an answer first from Holland, but the rep didn't have an answer readily and ended up disconnecting me after 10 minutes. Email from Holland last night suggested using CIBTvisas.com/HollandAmerica to verify requirements by country and Colombia stated if arriving by cruise ship you must be fully vaccinated and tested within 72 hours of arrival. Not so if flying in.
  6. Colombia is a stop on our partial Panama Canal cruise, and one of the few remaining countries requiring a negative test within 72 hours of arrival. Since this port is 5 days into cruising, we obviously can't test prior to embarking. How does HAL handle this?
