I completely agree.  That's why I decided to call Princess to get status before I filed a dispute with my bank. If the refund hasn't posted to my account by Friday, I'll file the dispute.

I was refunded my cruise fare for the March 14 Sky Princess  on May 13. When I called Princess on May 11 - sixty days after  the day (March 12) on which I had picked the cash refund option - is when I learned that Princess had processed the credit card return-of-fare on May 7. The Princess rep said to allow for 10-15 business days for the processed refund to appear on my credit card statement. The refunded cruise fare showed up on my CC statement on May 13.

  2. On March 12, Princess cancelled the March 14 Sky Princess western caribbean sailing on me and my family, total three guests who also had shore excursions booked directly with Princess  using Princess website.

    1. March 12

    2. Two dollars' deposit on cruise fare  in November 2018, via credit card. Final payment of remainder of the cruise fare  in late 2019, via credit card.

    3. I asked for cash refund option on March 12. On March 12, I filled out Princess's choose-an-option reply form two hours after Princess's "Pause 1" Cruises Cancellations email message  hit my inbox (based on the email time-stamp then).

Yesterday, the cruise fare and guest 1's shore excursion cost  were refunded back to my credit card account  as three separate refund-amounts -- showing up as  two dollars, final payment dollar-amount, and guest 1 shore-ex amount.

I am waiting for them to refund guest 2's shore-ex amount and guest 3's shore-ex amount.

  3. I am in the U.S.  Princess cancelled my March 14 Sky Princess western caribbean cruise on March 12. Three guests, and each with shore excursions booked directly with Princess. I picked the 100 percent cash refund option in replying to them on March 12.  60 days had passed and being concerned, I called them on May 12. They said they processed on May 7 the full cruise fare, refunding to my credit card. They processed shore-excursion amount for guest 1 on May 7, and shore-excursion refunds for guests 2 and 3 on May 8. They said it may take 10-15 business days for processed-refunds to cross over into my credit card account. The correct total for the 3 guests' refunded cruise fare, plus guest 1 shore-excursion refund, showed up in my account yesterday as three entries- the deposit amount, final payment amount, and shore-ex amount. I am waiting for shore-excursion refunds for guests 2 and 3 to appear.
