Thank you for noting the above. I have read all the travel advisories from the u.s. state department concerning travel to Trinidad. It is a level 3 (reconsider travel) but so is Jamaica and Honduras which we have been to many times and travel on our own in those islands. I was hoping for some specific information from previous travelers who have been to Maracus beach independently . We have been to Trinidad previously but just shopped in Port of Spain and returned to the ship on our .

Has anyone had experience with going to Maracus Beach on your own either bus or taxi recently? We will be porting in Trinidad on Ruby Princess on November 14.
