  1. I agree with Bonine! Forgot mine on the ship when we tendered into Maui to head out to a whale watching tour. Bought some on shore, went to head for the pier...alas...got my times mixed up for the shore excursion and they were boarding as we arrived. I took Bonine in the line up JUST before we got on the boat....the huge swells while whale watching were incredible...and I survived!!! Won't buy anything else now (and yes..have to buy it prior to departure as we are from Canada also!!) Heading out on a Caribbean 2 week B2B in January!!

  2. thanks SO much for the info! Greatly appreciated! Was thinking of purchasing a waterproof camera for this (and now maybe not..lol) but also wanted it for the Brae River rafting in Falmouth, Jamaica (don't want to drop the tablet there..;p) and we also have 2 days at Princess Cays (doing a B2B Eastern and Western Caribbean)

    Thanks again!!

oh...and just to let you know..we are from British Columbia...our lake that we swim in gets to be about 72F -74F...which is quite nice....for here...lol Caribbean waters will be like a hot tub at a spa! haha

  3. but there is no action on the St. Maarten link...

Visiting St. Maarten in January. Has anyone done the helmet dive shore excursion? Any thoughts? I have watched youtube of people and they have had their photo taken...does the company take photos for you to buy, or do you have to bring along a waterproof camera?

    Thanks for any info

  5. Thanks for all the info. So, what I am gathering is......you pay $100 for a future cruise, (which you have to take within 2 years?) and you get an OBC (amount depends on days of future cruise) for that cruise? That's basically the benefit of booking?

  6. Heading out on the Regal on a B2B Caribbean departing on Jan. 21. Was going to originally do a Panama Canal, but the price was too much for us at this time (coming from Canada..with extra expenses with flights etc) I have heard that booking on board for a future cruise is beneficial. Does anyone have feedback regarding that process, and does it really save you that much $$ in the big scheme of things? Thanks for all your info!!:ship::tropical-drink:

  7. Yes..I did look on the personalizer...just didn't click far enough! Thanks for the info! I think we will wait until we are on board to see if they have any specials! Hot Stone Massage was $195. ouch!!

  8. Does anyone have any info on the prices for treatments/services in the Lotus Spa? Daughter was wondering about a hot stone massage on a sea day, just wondering how much?

  9. yes. I never thought of the sofa bed actually being a sofa bed! forgot how uncomfortable they are. Will have to give them both a try and hopefully DH will choose the pull down bed!! I would have to have to climb over her to have a coffee o the balcony in the morning! although....It would be revenge for all the times she woke me up in her younger years! lol :p

  10. Not all minis have a sofa bed and an upper berth. Do you know what your cabin has? If you have both and you only have 3 people then he will make up whatever you want if you ask.

From all the photos/videos I have seen it looks like there is a pull down bed. We are on the CB in E725.

Looking at the photo that was also posted, looks like it gives a lot more floor space than I thought! Now, to convince 21 year old daughter to sleep in a bunk again! ;)

  11. We have been on RCCL, Norwegian, and Princess. I think my favourite at this point is Princess. My favourite thing (actually one of many!) is the MUTS!:p Movies Under the Stars! We are not night owls/party animals, so we don't tend to stay up very late, but the MUTS is a wonderful way to end a fun filled day! Cozy blankets, popcorn and milk and cookies! Love it!! Can't wait for our next cruise on the CB in 45 days...!:D

  12. ok...forgot to mention all those important things!:p duh!

Will be there the first week of June.

We have one week left to plan. We will be relying on transit/trains/buses. Only looking into Wales or Ireland. Looks at this point that we will be flying into 'wherever' from Edinburgh, and then after the week, flying to London for our flight home.

Not interested in plants, gardens etc. Like castles, scenery, major 'tourist' attractions, not afraid of local tours by bus, getting a feel for the 'culture' of the area.

(So looking forward to Paris and just sit in a little café and watch the world go by!)

Hope this helps you help me! lol :D

  13. DH and I are spending and extra 3 weeks post cruise heading to France and Edinburgh. We have one more week to plan....what would be your suggestion ....looking into Wales or Ireland. What is there to see? I glanced into Cardiff, and it looks like there isn't much there, other than a lot of botanical gardens etc. (not my cup of tea..) Dublin....??? (don't really want to head to Belfast) What are all your 'professional' opintions?
