  1. I was surprised that 15 was the non alcoholic limit while onboard last week. It was the first I had heard of it.
  2. There are a few benches outside. I spotted 2 or 3. On the lower level inside it is all lines and documentation checks and I didn't notice seating anywhere. It was a very smooth and quick process overall.
  3. Thank you all! Beverages would be included with the Premium package or will they still be additional?
  4. On the flip side of this, can you downgrade? When I booked my father was coming and he is a big drinker so we got the fare that includes everything. He can no longer come so my husband is and he doesn't drink at all. I can take it or leave it. Has anyone been successful downgrading to the premium non alcoholic package while onboard? If so, do they do a shipboard credit or similar for the difference?
  5. Hello! We are on the August 14th Alaska sailing. This is our first time on HAL. My husband and son (14yr) love the Cafe's on RCI, Princess and Celebrity where you can go and get a coffee, tea or non alcoholic beverage and sit with a pastry or light snack. Is there anything similar on Nieuw Amsterdam? And since I am asking a question anyway, if you get selected for an upgrade or even a paid upgrade, how are you notified? How far in advance does this usually happen from sailing? Thank you!
  6. You mentioned you cannot enter Canada so keep in mind many of the excursion on the White Pass railroad in Skagway require a Passport (or Visa) for Canada as it enters their territory.
