  1. This was my exact experience as well. On our last cruise, my daughter was 3 years 1 month and we handled it the same way. Had her go right beforehand and would come back after 2.5 hours max. I remember she did go to the bathroom once while she was there. She wasn’t really asking much yet so I think the staff must have prompted her. The staff were all really great. She loved going there and actually had more fun there than her 5 year old brother did! At first I was really nervous that she would have an accident, but it worked out great. The phone did give me more peace of mind. Also, one thing to keep in mind, is that they don’t assist with wiping at all. We overheard parents being told at pickup that their child may have dirty underwear because they couldn’t assist after he went. So be sure to bring quite a few extra underwear if he isn’t wiping himself well yet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. I'm not on a cruise right now, but my kids each got one on our last cruise and one is Kung Fu Panda. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. Nice pictures, you know what you're doing with a camera!
  4. I'll be back later tonight with a few more...
  5. I'll be posting more ship photos in a bit... I seem to be having a lot of trouble with uploading tonight! Wow, that is too bad with what happened in St. Croix. I'm glad you made it back to the ship on time! That would be a scary experience... I've never had a close call like that yet. Yes, we made it to both Love & Marriage and Quest. Those are always must do's for us, and we haven't been disappointed yet! You will see in the cruise compass the day and time that they will be handing out tickets to the ice show. Just show up outside of Studio B and get the tickets for the day and time you want. Very easy!
  6. Yes, I have pictures from all over the ship! Anything in particular you want to see? I'll get some posted either tonight or tomorrow.
  7. On Adventure, the compasses list Johnny Rockets being open 11:30am to midnight every day.
  8. I was on the April 3rd sailing and did not have any issues with brown water.
  9. Just off Adventure last week (Barbados route), and we had a great cruise! I thought I'd post a link to my review in this thread since I got so much information here for my trip. Can't wait to someday be back on board! http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1398429
  10. I was on this excursion last week, and it turned out to be the best day of our cruise. We actually had tried to book with a different company, but they were full so we ended up going with Silver Moon. What I loved about this was it had a good mix of activity and relaxation. Swimming with the turtles was an awesome experience. The staff were excellent-- always making sure everyone had what they needed and were satisfied. They were professional, yet laid back and friendly. Food and drinks were delicious. DH and I agreed that we'd like to make it back to Barbados again, and we'll look at booking with Silver Moon. And that's saying a lot, because we're the type of people that never like to repeat. It was just a wonderful experience!
  11. Yes, that cabin was great! With all the sun and warm weather we had, it was so nice to go relax on the balcony in the shade each afternoon.
  12. We did the 24 person, and the total on our tour was right about 24. I never felt like it was too crowded since the catamaran is really spacious.
  13. Thanks for the comments! For those of you sailing on Adventure, you will enjoy... She is a beautiful ship!
  14. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have a Sony TX5, which is ultra compact and waterproof. This is the first vacation I've taken with this camera, and I'm really happy with the results.
