Here is my question - how do you define maximizing revenue?  Even if the company still sold all of the Villas and Cabanas and the new rate, how many customers are alienated by the inflated pricing?  What value does Carnival place on repeat business? What value do they place on the customer experience?  

 

I would argue that raising prices on optional items could do way more harm than good, by leading to a reduction in repeat business.  I, for one, would take my vacation dollars elsewhere if I didn't feel that I was getting enough value for my money. Just my opinion.

If the cabanas are still selling out at $999. How are the losing money.  Carnival is tasked with making money for their share holders.  That’s what the free market is all about.  How many cruise corporations are based in a non free market economy.  I would never pay for a cabana at the original price years ago but I happy for those people that bought them years ago.  Now that the price has escalated, the people that purchased the before have reached the conclusion that the new price is too high.  That’s were I was at the the beginning but I did not begrudge anyone that purchased the cabana then, and the people that complain now should not be upset that the price is too high now.

Not me cause I not the lucky one in our marriage.  My wife won $1,000 on the slot poker machine and 5 minutes later won additional $500.00 on a double Diamond deluxe slot machine.

This from the Carnival website shows Marci Gras casino on 2 decks

Not sure but in the 2 photos the box looks different sizes. In the stores the regular monopoly box is square.

The poster sailed anyway. asking your friend to pay half these costs when she couldn’t go seems to me a very petty way to treat a friendship

I haven’t seen shots after dining in MDR fir several year.  As I remembered The lemon cello was very Tart and I like to eat lemons like an orange.  The rest were very low proof and sickeningly sweet. 

Break even is around 5-6 per day

Not a fan of the GDC.  The pea soup that everyone seems to rave about in our eyes may be the worst pea soup we have ever had. Canned Campbells soup is better than the GDC.  The pastries look incredibly good but have never tried them 

No.  You’ve answered your on question.  Anyone that has been that unhappy with their cruise. There is NO WAY you be happy with another try

I’m sure that that may be part of the spirits are not available for purchase from the fun shops but from somebody in the business there are a lot of  spirits that are not available  in the general  public because of no availability for Bottles or product due to Covid
