  1. Well it's the day of embarkation. After multiple airline cancellations we have managed to get here. Thanks to cruise club UK. Com for eventually rescuing is and finding some flights to Buenos Aires. The hotel we are staying at (SAVOY) has a lot of people booked on cruises. The staff have been great. Off to the port.

  3. Have seen a couple of these go on line and I would like to try and document my NCL Star cruise in Feb this this year. I will attempt to post the information that will assist others wanting to consider this cruise. The cruise starts in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 4th on Feb 24 calling at Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Ushsuai, Stanley (Falkland Islands) and back to Buenos Aires. We will also travel the CHILEAN FJORDS, CHILE, PARADISE BAY, ANTARCTICA and ELEPHANT ISLAND/CAPE LOOKOUT, ANTARCTICA. I will try to keep you up to date with photos and what is going on on the ship. The countdown has begun

  5. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the terminal and if it was easy to get too
  6. Did you start your cruise from Costanera Rafael Obligado 1221, C1425GOB CABA, Argentina. I believe that the Star is using this as the cruise port for the next few months
  7. Does anyone have any experience of the new embarkation port Costanera Rafael Obligado 1221, C1425GOB CABA, Argentina. The Star is starting from this new port whilst the main cruise terminal is being repaired

  9. Fantastic. Do they change the menus as you move into a new year. We board on the 4th of Feb out of Buenos Aires. Can not wait. Thanks for the pictures
  10. I am booked on the same itinerary in February 24. Seriously looking forward to it even though we have a lot of sea days. We have just been informed of the cruise terminal change, and I hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience. Shame there is no whale. Watching as excursions. Can not wait
  11. I am currently on the Epic and have just spoken to the cruise next team on board to see if I can pre book the spa thermal on the star in Feb. I was told that you can book on the app from 60 days before and if we have an issue ring guest services
  12. It was an offer when we booked on the ship
  13. I have tried to book the TEPPANYAKI and the Moderno and it is try to get me to pay a cover charge. Why do I need to pay if I have specialist dining for 7 nights. Why did I bother

  16. Just seen that the Rhapsody of the seas has docked in Haifa. It could be a evac.
  17. It looks like the information being told to the American customers is different than that of the Europeans. What are FOX talking about that Cyprus is also on the list of ports being looked at to be stopped as it is "unsafe". As Cyprus is one of Natos biggest stationary aircraft carriers with thousands of Nato troops and more aircraft than you can imagine, it must be one of the safest places to dock. As for Turkey, once again as a Nato flag bearing nation, they are not going to put that in jeopardy
  18. My reason for asking is more based on the flights. I see Lufthansa have already cancelled my munich to Tel Aviv section of the flight.
