For those on this feed (or new viewers) - Another question ... we have the Premium Plus Beverage Package. By chance, do you know if any additional amenities are included with this that transfer over to Great Stirrup Cay. For example, when we eat at the Silver Cove Restaurant/Buffet, are bottles of wine available? Can you bring them back to the villa (open or brand new)? Any additional cost? Thanks so much!

Hi Friends - Perhaps all of my questions have been covered in other postings. It was hard to find. If you see any links on the site that might help me with my questions, please feel free to share. All is appreciated. 😃 1 - On the Ocean Villas at Silver Cove - is there a way either on the ship or via the shore excursion Customer Service Team (via phone) can place a preference of location... for example a villa on the end? Has anyone had a unit on the end? Pros/cons to it? 2 - From what I have read, the Ocean Villas are "private" to those who rent them. Does someone monitor those who are in the area? Or can anyone from the cruise use the walkways in front of the Villas? 3- When it comes to service, does NCL Staff check on you at your villa (if on the patio) to see if you need any drinks? Or do you need to go to the bar? 4 - I see there are two lounge-type chairs on the patio. If it's a group of 4 - would they bring 2 extra ones? Is there room for them? 5 - In terms of the view from the Villa - are people ziplining in front of it? Or is the view unobstructed? 6 - Regarding the tender to the island, if you book a Villa - do you receive any priority pass for the tender to get on/off the island? 7 - If we start first thing in the morning and head over to the island to the Villa, is there breakfast available at the Silver Cover Buffet/Restaurant? or is it best to have breakfast on the ship? 8 - I see some have complained about the water itself being stagnant... was this your experience with the water in front of the Ocean Villas? How was the sand - people speak to it being somewhat rocky? 9 - Do they charge taxes on the beverages? Okay - I think that is all for now. I've watched many YouTube videos and looked at sites, but, I always appreciate first-hand knowledge from the group on here. Thank you Brett

Hi Friends - It's been about 10 months since I have been on a cruise with NCL. I was looking at some posts and was not clear if things have changed. In the past I have upgraded to the Premium Plus Beverage Package. Typically at dinner, if I have an open bottle of wine and want to take it with me, it was not an issue. They would cork it for me and I could take it back to the room. This would be a free bottle of wine with the package, let's say in the Manhattan Room. I've also ordered the free bottle of wine and it was never opened and they allowed us to take it back to the room. In reviewing some of the other posts, it appears they do not allow this now? They end up tagging the bottle that was not finished and give you a tag and they retrieve the bottle the next evening, is that correct? Just trying to see if that applies to those who upgrade to the Premium Plus Package and potentially what has changed. Thanks for your help, Brett

Hi all! My apologies if the below questions have already been asked. By chance has anyone cruised on the NCL ENCORE - 7-DAY CARIBBEAN ROUND-TRIP MIAMI: GREAT STIRRUP CAY/DOMINICAN REPUBLIC? A group of us are doing a Thanksgiving Cruise this year. I've outlined a few questions below. I appreciate any insight regarding my questions. 1 - It appears with the Premium Plus Package - Veuve is no longer available. I believe the replacement is Pommery Rose, is that correct? If so, any thoughts on the Pommery? also is there a standard Champagne available? 2 - On the Bliss (Alaska Cruise) we enjoyed the wine selection, especially the Sequoia Grove Cabernet (2018) and the Chardonnay. If you have experience on our upcoming cruise in November, did you find a particular red/white wine that you really enjoyed? (any screenshots/pics of current selection on the NCL Encore?) 3 - We have a group of about 12 people. In the past we enjoyed dining at the Manhattan Room. Does anyone know if either in advance or when we immediately get onboard, are we able to reserve a table for a group on the actual holiday? I assume many people will want to do the same and looking for advice on how to best secure (if possible) our spot. As always, thank you to everyone for your insight and guidance. Brett

Hi friends - Has anyone taken the Norwegian Sky on the 11-Day Panama Canal Round-trip from Miami? I am trying to get some details in regards to the actual "Panama Canal" portion of it. The itinerary seems vague. It speaks to the Panama Canal/Gatun Lake. Pardon my ignorance on this and/or geography LOL. Does anyone know if you actually go through the Panama Canal to get to Gatun Lake? I wanted to experience the various (or at least a few) Panama Canal locks and curious if this particular itinerary offers that. Any insight/help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hi all - I apologize in advance if this question has been asked many times, however I was not successful in finding the information that I was looking for. Does NCL ever post or make available what wine they serve by glass? I "chatted" into Customer Service via their website and they gave me an example list from 2015 and that was not helpful at all. I am traveling with a few people that have the premium beverage package and some that upgraded to the premium plus and we are all curious as to what options we would have. I have reviewed the flyers they provide, but it doesn't drill down to the "by glass" option. Perhaps it varies, which I understand, but wanted to put the question out there to the group. Thanks for your help in advance.
