Actually, I don't mind the upsell. If they offered 1/2 off later in the cruise because they don't have enough reservations I might take them up. I think their specialty restaurants are way too expensive. I kind of think that NCL is nickeling and diming everywhere. The specialty dining is kinda outrageous. I get the 2 free ones like everyone else included in the base fare. I thought that anything above that is incredibly expensive. They don't even include bottled water in their drink package. We love Jamies Italian on RCL - I think it is $19 for Lunch and $35 for Dinner - regardless of what you order.

I have never cruised on NCL before. I have been cruising on RCL for quite a few years. Many times during the cruise, they are trying to "sell" dinner in the premium restaurants. Sometimes they offer BOGO or a discount on a meal. (40% off or whatever). Does anything go on like this on NCL?

On our last cruise before the pandemic, we booked a party bus on a couple of stops. It was a school bus with the windows removed, we got a tour of the island and then a beach break. They had coolers with beers and soda on the bus. Anything like that on Cozumel?
