  1. I submitted the HAL form by email after the travel insurance paid what they would. Happily Travelguard paid most of my expenses.
  2. I hope you have better luck than I have, submitted claim multiple times, called twice. Have never been contacted or paid in maybe a year now.
  3. I've been trying for months to get HA to recognize that I've emailed them a claim (3 times). I've called the 800 number twice and both have "not been able to find it". Here is the last email I sent them. __________________________________ Hello, I've been trying for several months to submit an out of pocket expense form. My booking ID is XLMXVV. I've called the 800 number several times to check on status but the emailed form hasn't made it to my account. Can you help me figure out why my emails appear to not be going through to you?   4. My letter from HA promised both a cruise credit for lost days and payment for isolation cost ashore. That was in May 22.
  5. We've gotten our money's worth out of 3rd party insurance. Years ago we had a last minute cancelation because of medical, got back about $8K. In 2022 we had a covid related expense on a cruise. The 3rd party paid ... after 8 months, cruse line still hasn't paid the delta they promised.
  6. Is it true that you can make additional specialty restaurant reservations during the cruise on a space available basis?
  7. Similar thing with me. Have sent reimbursement package in 3 times and it has never made it into my file. Phone reps ask me if I need another form …. I did get the cruise credit, but it will expire before I get reimbursed, I’m certainly not going to book anything until this is resolved.
  8. I had a false positive on a cruise in May 22. It caused a one day delay to get retested ashore. Travel Guard just paid in late December so I have submitted the reimbursement package for the remaining costs to HA by email. It’s discouraging that I received no acknowledgment from HA, but doesn’t sound out of line with the other experiences here.
