  1. Hello! I booked a cruise for September this year, and I included the Platinum Protection plan on my booking. About a week later, I started to question that itinerary, and ultimately I decided I wished I had booked something else with Princess. No biggie - I understand I can cancel for any reason with that insurance plan, and I will get FCC for the non-refundable portion of that original cruise fare. So I went ahead and canceled my original cruise a few hours ago, and I have already filed the insurance claim with Aon to get my FCC back to apply towards my next Princess cruise. Easy-peasy. So this leads to my question: once you file the claim with Aon, about how long does it take to get your FCC back on your account with Princess? The cancellation confirmation email says 2-4 weeks, but the phone agent with Princess had mentioned it takes about 5 days. That's a huge difference, so I thought I would check and see if anyone could chime in with their own personal experience. Oh, and bonus question: does anyone know about how long it takes to get the refundable portion refunded back to your credit card? Thank you for your time! I am eager to get my FCC and credit card refund ASAP so that I can book my next cruise. 🙂
