So it worked out pretty well. We all had haven access and had no issues with dinner or any of the other perks. It was a little confusing at check in because they didn’t have our keys for the connecting cabin in the haven checkin area but they got some made with the haven keycards. I hope you have the same experience and a wonderful cruise!

It’s a connecting room so I know my kids can be in there without someone 21 or older. I have some questions about the check-in process since I heard that was different, but that’s for another thread. Currently it’s me and my daughter in the suite and husband and two boys in the connecting (we had an inside cabin across the hall but the connecting room opened up and I swapped it). I definitely won’t hold it against the concierge if we don’t get access. I just wish there was an upgrade available for the connecting room since we are traveling as one family.

I have a Haven aft suite booked on the Encore. I also have the connecting room booked. I have a family of 5 - me, my husband, 16yo daughter, 15yo son, and 3yo son. Really I just want the extra room for my teenagers and I am set on this aft balcony so I didn’t want the 2BR haven. Would it make sense to put the teenagers in the suite so they would receive the haven benefits and just leave the 3 year old in the balcony on paper? With the $99 3rd and 4th passengers it wouldn’t be much more even with paying double occupancy. Any chance that that concierge would allow any other access? I’m not looking for special privileges but I’m set on this balcony and don’t want to split the family up.
