Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. There's a couple of excursions that include them, but I'm not super keen on the other activities. I figured there's got to be some place that I can roll up and feast on lobster separately from an excursion.
  2. Hello! Bit of a backstory - I'm currently booked in cabin 9252 on Norwegian Escape for a cruise in October. My partner has a condition that sometimes requires the use of a wheelchair or a standing walker. There's no more handicap-accessible cabins available in this category, and she's not super keen on spending the money to upgrade - she's dealt with this sort of thing on another cruise, and is pretty flexible about accommodating herself. However, to help her determine which devices would be best to bring, we're wondering about the dimensions of the cabin door. A lil weird, I know. Would anyone possibly have information on such things?
  3. Thanks everybody! Follow up question due to a recent development in my life: how do tenders deal with things like wheelchairs or scooters? I assume that they've had a good amount of time to figure that out, but I don't really want to just follow that assumption.
  4. I know some cruise lines offer ship tours that take you to the bridge and engine room and galleys and other places passengers don't normally have access to. Does NCL offer those kind of tours as well?
  5. Hi, all, I've been cruising before, but my upcoming New England cruise has two tender ports of call (Newport, RI and Bar Harbor, ME), and I've never been to a tender port before. I'm just curious what to expect when arriving, disembarking, embarking, and departing?
  6. As an example, upgrading from the premium to the premium plus drink package. So far, I've only cruised with Royal Caribbean, so I'm not sure how it works on NCL.
