  1. I absolutely believe this. There is no way the ship is just not equipped with heat
  2. Yes there are 5 of us in our family and we open the divider to have easier access to each other. We kept the doors closed and the tried to tuck in the curtains to avoid any draft. Not only was there not heat blowing the vents were blowing cold air on us. It was terrible.
  3. Absolutely everything in this post is correct. I am so frustrated with this situation. We are suppose to cruise again Jan 2 and honestly I don’t want to. It was so uncomfortable and being told there is no heat when I have been on this ship in winter before is just not acceptable. I just said 12/18-12/26. We had 2 staterooms 6180 and 6182. It was freezing! Temps in the 50s according the staff measurements. We were told by the room steward (Luis), the engineer that came to the room and guest services that the ship does not have heat and it is too old to be equipped with it. I have shared this last week with y’all during the sailing. Guest services could only give us blankets and suggest we contact carnival when we get back. Returning home yesterday I called Carnival there is absolutely someone if you want to book a cruise and spend more but I have learned that there isn’t actually anyone to call for cruises that have already ended you. You send an email and wait for them to respond within 45 days. The lady did make sure to tell me that there is no flag for the ship and she has never heard of the ship not having heat. I feel my concern was very brushed off with people being sure to tell me they had heat on Alaskan cruises previously like I didn’t just live this experience for the past 8 nights 😩 I really hope it is warmer next week
  4. Good morning everyone i was on the sailing that just ended yesterday. (12/18-12/26) We were in 6180 & 6182. Our rooms were very cold with temps in the 50s according to the staff that came and measured them. We were told by guest services, the room steward (Luis) and the engineers that came to inspect that the ship was too old to have heat. I have never heard of a ship not having heat before. This is confusing to me as we were on the Legend last Christmas and it was not this cold. Our rooms were noticeably colder than the rest of the common areas and the temperature dial did nothing. The only solution that could offer was to bring extra blankets and suggested that we contact carnival when we got home as there was nothing they could do.
