  1. There is zero chance....zero...that you had an acute respiratory attack from someone using a vape a pool's length away from you outside. How do you know you weren't reacting to exhaust fumes from the ship? Correlation is not causation.
  2. The same could be said for aerosol sunscreens or hairspray. Are you going to call security next time someone is using them on a balcony? And again, the "second hand toxicity" from vaping is literally only valid in an unventilated enclosed space like a dive bar. Is that some kind of threat?
  3. Maybe in a dive bar. Not on a cruise ship balcony with ample fresh air flow.
  4. Oh c'mon. Use some common sense here. There's no risk to your safety from someone vaping on a nearby balcony. And again I say this as the guy who doesn't hesitate to call security in a nanosecond if anyone near me is smoking.
  5. I'm obviously hardcore about this, but I don't think I'd report someone for vaping outside. It is vapor, and while indoors it might have a brief odor outside it's practically undetectable. You'll notice you thought you saw someone vaping - not that you smelled anything. Smoke from anything combustible (weed or tobacco) is totally different. The smell can overpower you.
  6. Don't be ashamed. The a-hole smoking on their balcony is "that person" not you.
  7. Just make sure that if you notice your balcony neighbors smoking you call Guest Services IMMEDIATELY and request security please come stop it.
  8. On the Breakaway it will always be the Uptown Grill in my heart.
  9. Because people take them into public areas and use them on their balconies, thus imposing their music on other people.
  10. ...for your convenience, of course
  11. If they ban that and Bluetooth speakers I'll be with NCL for life.
  12. PCC's literally can't do anything for you in terms of price/amenities than you can't do yourself booking via the website. Nothing. Nada. Bupkiss. If you want to talk to a human being, at least call a travel agent that will likely be able to wrangle some perks in addition to whatever NCL offers directly.
  13. This might be the most unintentionally hilarious thing anyone has ever posted here.
  14. I 100% guarantee NCL will soon offer a priority embarkation day cabin prep option at a premium fee...for your convenience of course.
  15. They're still burning through TONS of future cruise credits from the shutdown. Amen - might even not be that "quasi"
  16. I love the idea that someone drunkeating wings at 1am is supposedly concerned about making more healthy choices. They did it to save money on cooking oil.
  17. Glad NCL is keeping this as is. Royal has an obnoxious new "clean your plate" policy that you can only order a second entre after finishing your first.
  18. C'mon NCL, Royal at least has Sorrento's available late. This is actually a bigger cruise-quality-of-life change than you all might realize, even if the change was made for our convenience.
  19. That's what they used to do. Pizza, hot dogs, maybe a leftover dish or two from dinner, some cakes and cookies, etc. It was really great.
  20. That sucks. Late night snacks in the Garden Cafe rocked.
  21. 24 hours. You need to book by midnight tonight.
  22. Fine...the sea breezes then. Most of the music NCL pumps into public spaces is anodyne mass market mediocrity. I'd prefer the quiet.
  23. I hate being forced to listen to someone else's music. Bring some earbuds if you want tunes. I bet a lot of passengers enjoy just the sound of the ocean waves.
  24. Do you have an inside cabin? If I've got a balcony I can't see a decent recent to book Vibe on a September Canadian itinerary.
