  1. On our Triumph cruise we had the sweetest steward. He always smiled and called us by name. He also stood outside our door each night to see my sons face when he discovered the towel animal he had left that evening. So the last night, after we had gone to the towel animal folding class, we left our steward a towel animal my son made with a thank you note and $25. When we came back to the room that evening he stopped to say he liked it. At least he seemed pleased, his English was hard to understand. But he had a huge smile on his face:)

  2. Can anyone tell me exactly how much a spa pass for the Thelassotherapy pool and other rooms is for the Breeze 8 day Southern? I'd love to know daily versus weekly prices and do they run any specials in this throughout the cruise? And did you think it was worth it if you bought a pass? I love saunas, steam rooms and just the atmosphere of the spa. I used the similar spa pass on the Disney Magic 10 years ago and loved it. Can anyone compare it to the one on Disney for me?

  3. I drank the funship special everyday on our last cruise in the Triumph. The Aft bar by the pool was the weakest. Red Frog was perfect, the Lobby bar was strong. One day so strong I could barely drink it! And most of the time if the bartender was busy they didn't even charge for my sons Shirley temple. I tipped a little over the 15%, but not much. Say all that to say this...I feel like the drinks were not weakened or watered down at all. Even tho they were $10 a pop I felt like I got my money's worth. 3 a day is about all I can handle when they are that strong!

  4. This is an interesting thread! I've never heard of rum runners before but looked them up on amazon and am considering buying them... The ones I see are 8oz and 16oz. My husband tends to wear pants with big pockets (carpenter jeans). If he were to stuff them into his pockets is it safe to assume they'd go unnoticed? Since (I'm assuming) they don't do body searches and there's no metal so it wouldn't trigger any alarms.

We haven't done this personally but I have read reports that this works:)

  5. I read a first hand account from a passenger that said they had hot food by day 2 due to a generator being airlifted into the ship. The reason for the onion sandwiches is because the people in the front of the line took all the meat off the bread and left the people at the back of the line with onion sandwiches. This passenger obviously wasn't looking to sue. I tried to find the link to the article because he dispelled a lot of rumors the media was circulating but couldn't find it. I'm pretty sure it was on CC. It was interesting! I don't think they were so low on food they would need to get into the stash on lifeboats. Also, more fresh food was delivered daily if not more, from other ships.
