Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I would 🙂 But ours is in August, so hopefully it won´t be that chilly.
  2. Ha, ha that is very true! I was in my own head too much so for me it was obvious. The trip is in fact in Norway. In August though, so not quite as cold as in March I would imagine. Thank you everyone for your answers.
  3. We´ll be taking a RIB-boat ride as one of our excursions and now I´m wondering what kind of clothes we should bring for this. Could someone who has taken such a ride give me some advice on what to bring, thank you?
  4. Thanks for your answers. I guess than in my mind, the cruise has been secondary, more of a floating hotel 🙂 Personally I would probably never go on a cruise only for cruising, it would always be about the itenerary. But sure, why not both 🙂 I will probably try go-carts and pickleball, and whatever else my group will want to do, but the ports are still my main focus 🙂
  5. I´ve never been on a cruise before, so I don´t know what to expect. However, I´m surprised to see so many questions about entertainment. I’ve always thought that after a full day in port, doing excursions or exploring, one would be too tired for entertainment. I´m thinking that after a day a shore, I will want to wind down in the stateroom for a while, eat a nice dinner, maybe go for a stroll on the ship, have some hot tea, read a book and then hit the bed. On a sea day I might want something more to do. But even then I could do with sleeping in, eating good, strolling and reading. How do you all have energy for shows, auctions, drinking and partying? Is there anyone else like me in the cruising world or will I be completely out of place?
  6. Ok, thank you! Yes, I´m new here as well as to cruising. It´s truly a world of it´s own 🤪 We´re going on the Norwegian Prima.
  7. We have hardly managed to book any of the speciality dining options. They were all full, or had slots for 9.30, which we find a bit late. Is it possible to book speciality dining after boarding, or can we try to get tables to those restaurants from day-to-day while cruising?
  8. Thank you! I got a little concerned there since we don´t know any of these languages enough to follow a guided tour 😅
  9. First time cruiser here! We´ve just booked a shore excursion and now I see there are flags showing the excursion is available in German and in Spanish. Does that mean those are the only languages or that the excursion is in those languages as well as in English?
