What is (the?) Vibe and why do I need to have it? 😊

Is a Garden suite part of the Haven or a completely different area?

Is there a self assist option for disembarkation?

Any tips I should know about NCL in general or the Gem specifically?

On the CCL boards I have seen people talk about loading OBC to a slot machine, spinning a time or 2 and cashing out. I don't know the exact procedure or if it would work on NCL but I'm sure someone over there would be able to help.

I just got off the Gem on Saturday- had a balcony cabin and the coffee maker was the 4 cup drip coffee maker- it was always replenished when the room Stewart turned the room down at night.

What sort of filters would one need to bring or are there filters in cabin? Dh may want to take his own coffee.

Part of the problem is that the couple we're traveling with used points for their flight. It was a royal pain getting us on the same flight since they were somewhat restricted in their choices. Coordinating new flights while not in the same room seems daunting.

I wonder if airlines do 3 way calls?

Yes. A friend is supposed to fly to NOLA Friday. She called Delta, our airline too, to change and they wanted to charge to change. The rep did tell her that she may be able to change for free closer to Friday if bad weather seems to be imminent.

Sadly, we are not frequent flyers.

I just don't know whether to change now, and take a financial hit, or wait a few days and hope for a complimentary change.

I wonder if a change would be covered by insurance. I'll have to dig up my paper work.

Yes. Our plan is to arrive in Miami Saturday for a Sunday cruise. Driving is not an option, but thank you!

I've read some older (2008) threads about boarding at POM but the "search this thread feature" is not working for me.

The older threads mentioned arriving around 11:00 to board and being onboard about 12:00. Does that still hold true?

I have ordered it from room service on previous cruises. You can also bring 2 6packs of cans on board in your carry-on luggage if I'm not mistaken.

I believe I read that the Mongolian wok is no more. What has it been replaced with?

I haven't even seen the inside of a main dining room on our last 4 cruises. I just don't feel like fussing when I'm on vacation.

I'm looking for travel insurance and this is the first time I'm concerned about weather possibly preventing us from traveling. We have a flight out of NY at the end of January.

What type of insurance do I need in case of winter weather preventing us from getting to NY? I'm looking at the CFAR plans but they say you have to cancel 2 days before the trip. Are basic/classic packages sufficient? I see hurricanes mentioned, but nothing about snow/ice/general terrible weather.

Honestly, am I an idiot? It's been a few years but I don't remember buying insurance being this difficult. Of course winter weather was never a factor before.

Any help would be appreciated!
