South American itineraries would be very dangerous for my wallet. I am curious to see what their ultimate decision is on this and the Australia season is though.

Selfishly, I'm very happy the Med season won't be impacted. I hope what VV offers those affected is adequate for the disruption.

Personally, I have more incentives for this booking than I know what to do with. I'm not sure at this point if I'd be more disappointed with a cancellation or a shortened cruise, but the unknown is making me a little extra cranky about things.

This does not make me optimistic about the chances that my May cruise from Athens will still be happening, but hopefully they come out with more information soon!

As someone who is also booked on the Greece and Croatia cruise, this had been my hope. But based on this: https://www.seatrade-cruise.com/ship-operations/when-brilliant-lady-joining-virgin-voyages-it-will-be-while it doesn't seem like Brilliant will be doing anything for a while. At this point I'm working under the assumption that my cruise will not be going ahead as planned and I'm booking (fully refundable) hotels instead. I'm slightly frustrated with the "wait and see" approach, but VV isn't the only line who is doing that.

Just got my rebooking confirmation! The app still isn't right, but I can log into my account on the website again and it's there. In case it's of interest to anyone, I got my e-mail with the booking hold at 9:02 am (central time) on Friday. My TA was the one who handled everything so I'm not sure how/if that coincides with the form.

If the initial holds for replacement cruises were really only 7 days as some people were told, is there a system for making sure those don't disappear? The sailing I'm trying to move to only has Ltd view sea terraces left, and if I lose my hold and someone else snaps up the cabin I'm not sure I'd want to drop down that much. Guess there's nothing to do but wait and try to come up with a back up option just in case.
