very helpful post. fyi on a Sept 2023 cruise in Ireland the Non Refundable OBC I received for cancelled ports could NOT be applied to the DSC (mandatory service charges / tips). I had asked our butler if we needed to do anything special to apply the NR OBC, and he said 'no', it would apply automatically. That answer was not correct. We had charged photos and discretionary tips in specialty dining restaurants, and the $100 NR OBC was not applied to those items.

Thank you for the info. Also curious to know how the credit can be used. On a recent cruise we received a $100 credit to be used on the ship (due to bad weather / port cancellations), however it could not be applied toward gratuities. Since we had pre-booked / pre-paid most expenses, the credit was effectively never used.

Does anyone have experience with owning NCL stock and the resulting benefits earned for cruising?

Have you considered that it's Christmas / New Years and lots of people are on holiday? Meaning, not as many tour guides are available to add tours...
