Not really fair to those people who paid full price for Pv now is it?

On board Nautica. Day 2 of 9 sea days. Mandatory piracy drill today where we sat on floor in the hall for 10 minurtes while they read from the same letter they sent to our rooms. We are now in a HRA (high risk area) for the next 3 days all the ships curtains will be closed at sundown. No lighrts on running track or outside decks. Seriously why are we here?

That is unbelievable.O might be worried about their future?

Sounds great. Please do. We don’t want to spend 3 weeks rehashing our misfortune and missing the gifts of cruising. This was a bucket list cruise for us and our first with O. We are sorely disappointed and will continue to do what we can to discourage potential O cruisers in the future, but for now? Lovely ship, new friends and we are on the water. How bad can that be?

We will also be trying to make the best of this Nov 17 situation. Once boarded, there is no point in ruining our own holiday. O will hopefully have some negative consequences because of this but I won’t let it affect the quality of my life.

We have 11 days to sailing and are still pushing for either refund or FCC. It’s all we can do. Once we set foot in the ship, they have “won”.

I guess lucky for those who book through a travel agency. We have always booked directly with the cruise lines. Lesson learned!

We are on the Nov 18 sailing of the Nautica Holy Lands and Middle East 21 day voyage. We received earlier notification that our 2 days in Jerusalem were deleted and 2 stops in Italy were added. Disappointing enough but we could live with this. We paid large $ for our bucket list trip to Petra, Luxor and the Wadi Rum. On October 23 we received another itinerary and the only 2 stops that were on our original itinerary were Barcelona (embarkation) and Dubai (disembarkation). We are now going to 1 stop in France, 4 stops in Italy, 1 in Malta, 2 in Greece and a lovely 9 consecutive days just getting the ship to Dubai. We have been to all these stops and we could cruise for 9 days on our own darn boat. We were NEVER offered any options. We asked for FCC - NO, Upgrades - NO, refunds - NO. No conversation and of course you can't cancel because it is way less than 60 days before departure. We have never cruised with Oceania before (we are elite with Princess) and NEVER will again. they are not a high-value, Luxury cruise line with supports their clients. They. have demonstrated that their only concern is maintaining a very large bottom line.
