  1. Hi, Does anyone know which staff share the automatic gratuities? Would the staff in the kids zone get a share? Hoping my youngest will spend some time there but I haven't seen anything mentioned about tipping/gratuities for those staff. Thanks!
  2. Thank you for your replies. Yes, perhaps I should clarify that he is allowed whatever he wants, from the items actually available 😂 I just didn't want to be a burden to the waiters/chefs if they are serving main courses to everyone else, but desserts to us, incase it upset the 'flow'.
  3. Hi, Will be travelling on QM2 and dining in Britannia. I have a tradition with my 13 year old son that on our last night of any holiday, we only eat desserts for dinner (cakes, puddings, ice cream, whatever he wants!) Would this be any sort of issue in Britannia? Would it cause hassle for the servers in any way? We can stick to King's Court if so, but I think he would enjoy the experience more in the "posh" dining area. Thanks!
  4. Thank you, that's reassuring! Do you know if the kids zone operates on these days?
  5. Hi, Have only travelled on one cruise before as a child back in 2004, on the QM2 when she travelled alongside QE2 from New York to Southampton. It was truly one of the most magical experiences of my life. So now as an adult I want to do something similar with my own children. I have looked at voyages and the Norwegian Fjords looks perfect. My question is: is it possible to stay on the ship when she stops at various ports? Would we be the only ones? Are the restaurants and activities available on board during port days? I understand people may question why not get off and explore, I'll just say I have some personal medical issues which I'd rather not discuss. And Norwegian Fjords are something I've always wanted to see, so I'd prefer that to a standard transatlantic crossing.
