I'm driving three hours across the state. I can only imagine what a a headache this is for people who are flying in and out of Miami.

Can someone on the ship update the current situation? I'm on my way to Miami now and it's not sounding promising.

Thanks Elaine. That's a big help. I know Santo Domingo is the islands favorite. I'll probably end up buying a lot of different types. I'm always on a search for the best beans.

I've been to the Dominican Republic a few times and saw a lot of coffee beans sold in the port shops. I understand Dominican coffee is very good. I'm going next week and would like to pick some up if anyone can recommend it.
