I’m glad to hear so many positive Reflection reviews here on the boards. The main CC Reviews section contains many negative reviews that have me concerned with booking a cruise on the Reflection next summer. I think most of those negative reviews were from the European itinerary and the Transatlantic cruise. Hopefully they’ve gotten their act together now that they are stationed in the Caribbean. We are scheduled for a Beyond cruise this Summer which was originally on the Reflection and don’t want to regret stepping back down to an older ship next year after we experience the Beyond.

Cruise ship specialty dining is no longer an “up-charge”. It’s full price fine dining. I can go to any number of upscale restaurants on land for the prices they now charge. I’ve done both Remy and Palo on Disney cruises and they were very reasonable up-charges on our first cruise over five years ago. They also continue to raise their prices and are now at the level of Celebrity dining. It’s all about making money and what the market will bear and apparently there is enough demand to support these high charges.

Just curious, if you bring two bottles to dinner (the same seating) do they charge two corkage fees.
