Important info

The NTSB will most certainly get involved as they should. We were on the Crown Princess years ago when it listed 11 miles out from Port Canaveral. The coast guard boarded the vessel .... we all had to get off in FL .... and the coast guard was on the ship all the way back to NY.

The NTSB then launched a thorough investigation.

We don't know if there is any damage to the Anthem and of the highest importance is the safety of the PAX and crew.

They have been through a horrific experience.

Interesting to see what RCCI Corp. has to say about this.

By the way did I forget to mention my husband and I were traveling with two disabled people... One in a wheelchair and the other in a scooter...the problem also was no crew assisting....took us THREE HOURS to disembark....no matter what I don't think this is acceptable.

I am on BA.....yesterday there were a lot of law enforcement and took someone off ..... Under arrest!

Just a heads up for those of us disembarking and embarking the Breakaway there will be many street/bridge closures.

We live in Queens so it looks like the Queens Midtown tunnel will be okay for us leaving the Manhattan pier..

Anyone heading to or from LGA or JFK need to have your route plan.

Just got off line with NCL and apparently we are in a higher category Mini Suite than online category of price that dropped $100...so we can't get anything....not even OBC.

Totally understand....no matter....we will, of course, have a wonderful cruise!

But no harm in trying.

We are sailing on the BA leaving NY on October 25...anyone know if there will be anything special done on October 31 in observance of Halloween.....just wondering if I Should bring a costume....LOL

Sailing on BA next month. Final payment made in July. I booked through NCL. Any chance they might give us something.....maybe OBC?

We are sailing October 25 on Breakaway.... When can dinner reservations be made online? Is it 90 days prior to sail date?

We used the UDP last October. I made all the desired reservations for every night online when it opened up with 90 days prior to sailing. We ate in a specialty restaurant every night, saving breakfast and lunch either at the buffet or the main dining rooms....we had no problem at all.

P.S. We ate at Cagneys three nights...LOL

We are going on the BA again this October and will make our UDP reservations when it opens up online in July!

I just saw on channel 2 news there is some type of a medical emergency on the norwegian gem in NY .... FDNY removing either a passenger or crew member.....anyone know what's going on?

On BA last month....my SIL and BIL in adjoining cabin. Asked to open and steward said not allowed.

Funny but first night out cabin on other side of us the separator was banging all night. Steward said could not be fixed something wrong with latch..... If such a safety issue why not fixed entire cruise....just sayin.
