  1. Have been to Nassau many times, and have gone to the Atlantis many times. We have taken the water taxi, which broke down and we had to wait for over an hour for another water taxi to come and rescue us.

    NEVER AGAIN.

We have taken the "bus", the ones that waits until every single seat is filled before they start to move. Last trip, we waited for approx 40 minutes inside this bus/mini van before we took off.

Therefore, we are now considering a taxi. Has anyone taken a Taxi cab to Atlantis, and remember the approx cost ?

    Thank you.

  2. We sailed the Epic three times when she was doing the Caribbean run and loved, loved, loved her. After our first cruise on a Mega ship, we learned to book a cabin close to the elevator/stair banks. We take the stairs as much as we can, and when we need to take the elevator, it is close by.

I read reviews for entertainment purposes only, and to look at the pics. I take little of what is said as gospel.

Bon Voyage, you will have a great time.

  3. I cruise both, and love both. IMO, CCL has bigger balcony cabins. CCL has better food in the main dining room, NCL has a better buffet, NCL has better entertainment, and if you are a gambler, NCL's larger ships ( Epic, Breakaway etc) have the biggest best casino, but CCL has a more friendly casino staff.

I love cruising, and would not pass up the opportunity to cruise either line.

Have a great time, you will notice more things similar than different.

  4. Ok you pay 3-4 grand on a room, I will pay 300 and use my extra money that I am not paying for the same room to gamble, why is that so hard for a non gambler to understand?

    Do you get free drinks?

    Do you get spa passes?

Do you get dinners & wine?

Do you have money removed from your onboard charges?

    I do.

A gambler always does better on a cruise then a non gambler, just do the math.

    HITTING THE LIKE BUTTON :p

  5. We cruise because it is a "no-brainer" vacation. With all the stress on our jobs, at home etc. when we go on vacation, all we want to think about is: what to eat, what to wear, and what slot machine to play :D

We have not done a land vacation since the Cruise Bug bit us about 10 years ago.
