Hope it works out for those cpaps...my husband's was medium size and wouldn't have fit.  I don't think there are outlets by the bed or those shelves.

I had to get an extension cord from the cabin steward

Terre.   Thanks for the review.  This is our itinerary after Thanksgiving.  We're with you on the ports, except for Costa Maya we always visit my old friend Jaime at Jaime's Blue Reef. We've know him since his pre-CM days.

Appreciate the cabin review.  We've got a balcony as well.   Sounds like I need to bring a small folding table/tray for my CPAP.  Did you go into the spa/gym?  Have always used those showers but Vista and Horizon locker rooms were worse than the cabin shower.

Did you hang out at all on the aft by the Pig & Anchor-Watering Hole?  Was it as crowded as the Serenity?   Glad to here the kudos for the Hero's area.  Might be my hangout spot.

And sounds like the barkeep at the P&A could have been the same one we had on the Horizon.   Couldn't do a proper pour, mix a drink correctly, and paid more attention to the CHEERS people than the one drink folks.  I told the Alchemy mixologists they should give her lesson.  LOL.

As far as décor, pictures I've seen of Emeril's and the  Fortune Teller do seem to have NOLA flavor, but agree there should be more around the ship.

Thanks for the entertainment reviews.  That's been hit or miss on recent pre-COVID cruises.

My c-pap fit very well on the shelf by the bed. It's about 4 years old & not really

    big.

  3. We were on the same cruise. I can agree with a lot of your review. We didn't get to all of the eateries either. Cocktails were strong & costly. We've been to all the ports before. We were cruising for the ship.

Would we go again....maybe if the price was right & not sailing to full capacity.

  4. I've never experience a problem bringing my CPAP machine. Carnival provided me with an extension cord. I had to pay for a gallon of distilled water. Cabin steward delivered to our cabin.

  5. I don't know who you speak of, but we were in STT last March for 1 week. We booked with Max Charters. Capt. Hunter, his sister & dog Finn. He had room for 6 passengers (small sailboat) We sailed over to a beach on St. John. We snorkeled & swam....beautiful beach. We were provided with lunch that was very tasty. Sailing back was awesome! I love it! Excursion was 6 hrs. from the American Yacht Club at Red Hook.

We "left" Royal many years ago and switched to Celebrity. We prefer the more modern, loungy design and the quieter ambiance without water slides etc. on smaller ships. So that´s what we are not looking forward to on MSC. But as I once said: every cruise is what you make of it. And we always make the best of it and newer had a best cruise.

We just booked a few days at a spa hotel in Abano Terme after the cruise and two nights in Venice for New Years - so overall it will be a great escape 👍

    Sounds wonderful!

Hopefully passengers will conduct themselves according to Celebrity protocols.  And if not hopefully they will be dealt with.  Room confinement or a one way ticket home.  I’m pretty sure there will be some who will push boundaries and seeing them booted off the ship would make others think twice.  I so want to cruise again...

I'm American, & I can see my fellow Americans making an a$$ out of themselves because they think the rules aren't for them. They can't get on an airplane & follow the rules.

At this point, I do appreciate "everyone's" responses to my question. I started "again" (probably about 5 times doing this), trying to figured just what was not paid from Carnival, and what was.  What is strange is that my PVP put 4 "different" amounts on the credit card, which were to cover the 4 rooms. as  well as another small credit that I have no clue what it was pertaining to.  She said she had put the transfers, taxes in the credits as well, and that is possible.  HOW she ever came up with the 4 "different" amounts is beyond me for the credits, since 3 of the rooms were the "exact" price!  I believe, thank God, it was only around $400 that was not refunded back, so I have decided to just let things go.  Probably trying to have her "explain" to me would be more confusing, as when we were going over what was owed, she seemed to have a few problems, but I'm so thankful that I DID receive back most of the money!

I don't know all the "ins & outs" of how Carnival works their specials or pricing. My cruise was canceled March 20th for my cruise on May 30th. I completed the form requested a refund.  I just received all my money back even the deposit.
