Thank you for your recent correspondence with Holland America Line concerning your upcoming cruise on the ms Zuiderdam departing on April 8th, 2016. We are delighted to welcome one of our valued Mariners back on board!

The Onboard Credit on your Booking Number is titled as a Shore Excursion Credit which is intended to aid in discounting any excursion you may wish to purchase once onboard. If you choose to book your excursions in advance, all onboard credits on your reservation will simply be deducted from the balance of your Onboard Bill received at the end of the cruise.

Please feel free to contact us if we may be of additional assistance, or if we have misunderstood your inquiry. Our valued guests' comments or suggestions are always welcome and very much appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you on board in the near future. We are confident our Signature of Excellence will surpass your expectations.

Thank you for your continued patronage!

    Kind Regards,

    Brad

4 years ago on Zuiderdam we did renewal of vows. I wore my Bermuda socks, shorts, blazer and tie. We then went to the dining room for evening dinner and had no problem getting in.
  3. So true! I think I could give up my balcony for the Windstar experience. I notice you have cruised on a variety of cruise lines, including Carnival, HAL, and NCL. What would say helped you decide to make the switch to Windstar?

Carnival was my first cruise that was my learning about cruising. Renaissance was my favorite cruise 2 weeks in Tahiti including airfare from LA. That was a fantastic cruise and it was 680 passengers and did not cost much more than the Carnival cruise unfortetly they went bust after 911. Oceania was one of the sister ships. Seadream was fantastic with just 112 passengers. I went to Windstar because I normally pick where I want to go then find the cruise. I wanted to do the Panama Canal and Windstar did Costa Rica the canal to Colon. They were then doing the transatlantic and stopping at Bermuda and so we got off at home. And we both really enjoyed it. This year we did the Athens to Istanbul. Next year is our 25 anniversary, we are both in our 60' we will cruising with some family from the U.S. We are thinking of a Carnival or a couple of HAL cruises in the Carribean. We are now both retired so we need better prices. Smaller cruise ships do cost more

  4. i use a web site that you put your cruise and date into. Then online travel agents come back with the quotes. I have done this for the last 5 years and it allways the same one thar gives me the best quote. They have allways been very good to me. But I will still use the same web site to get the different quotes but I

will still use the usual agency unless some beats them by a fair amount

Major credit cards are widely accepted throughout Eastern Europe, especially in major metropolitan areas and spots that are used to serving tourists. Visa and MasterCard are the most-accepted types of cards, with American Express accepted less frequently and Discover card accepted where Diners Club is valid.

    Chip-and-Pin Cards

EMV (or Europay, MasterCard, and Visa) technology, otherwise known as chip-and-PIN technology, is widely used in Eastern Europe as the European standard. Cards that include this technology are embedded with a chip that is meant to improve the security of the card. These so-called “smart cards” are used just like regular credit cards, except that the customer is asked to input a four-digit PIN code into the card reader instead of signing for a purchase.
