I'm fairly certain that a kettle in your stateroom isn't an option.
You could inquire with room service to see if they can bring a carafe of hot water, if not you can obtain hot water from the coffee shop, buffet area or MDR.

We just renewed ours, we had them back in less than 2 weeks using the expedited option.

We’re platinum and on the fascination right now.
We have our complimentary drink coupons, nothing has changed :)

Great list!
My wife uses sea bands instead of taking anything.
They work great and are about $5 at most places.

Will you need to access your corporate VPN to access you internal network or use MyAppsAnywhere?
If so, you'll most likely be SOL.
Yes, I will need to access the corporate VPN.

Thanks all for the responses, looks like it's hit or miss depending on location and ship.
I'll be on the Fascination (out of San Juan)
The 3 programs I'll need to access most are Outlook, Workday, and Box.
No large file such as photos, but some PDF.
Using my laptop and iPhone.
Fingers crossed I won't need to spend more more than an hour each day working if the internet connection & speed are at least adequate :)

hello all, I normally leave work behind but that might not be an option on my upcoming cruise.
I will need to get online a few times a day to make sure a project I'm working on is moving along, I won't be able to delegate this to someone else.
how slow is the premium wi-fi on-board? are there options to plug in somewhere and get a better connection?
any helpful tips/suggestions would be appreciated.

I agree :)It’s considered at port day so it is treated as such. You have passengers that embark from Barbados that are not debarking in San Juan. It’s one of their full port days.Sent from my iPhone using Forums

My wife would love to have that, we just got off the Victory and received the headphones.Got the blanket on the 4/8 sailing on Pride...never openedAnyone want it?
We went to to service desk to see if we could trade for blankets but they were all out.
We did swap the headphones for Tervis tumblers though.
Let me know if your still interested in getting rid of the blanket.

Just off the Victory and our bags were at our room before noon, were platinum and our bag tags said priority.
I did tip the porter when dropping the bags off.
Never had an issue on any previous cruises.

Now a little planning will be required. Go by the deli before getting ship-faced and stick a couple sandwiches in the refer for my midnight snack!
Smart ;)

I won a cruise on Carnival. I just had to pay the taxes and port fees. The cabin is an ocean view. Since I won it I would imagine I would not be eligible for an upgrade maybe to a balcony? I am not expected free upgrade..I know that Carnival will send the notices for upgrades.
Best way to find out is to call Carnival.
Congrats on winning the cruise!

$25 on a $70 bill is quite generous. My servers would kiss you.
Lol, like I said we felt we had great service and believe in rewarding those that put forth the extra effort to ensure our experience is memorable :)

My wife and I left our waiter a $25 tip when we ate in the steakhouse on the Splendor recently, he was very attentive and made our visit very enjoyable

Not sure why they don't just load up in FLL and come back a week later to MIA. I don't think the Jones Act would interfere as many ships sail from Florida to California. Maybe just less confusing for the passengers. Some may know better?
That would of made too much sense ;)
We're sat in POM waiting on the splendor right now

are loungers still available on suite balcony's?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Asking because we read a few people saying on another social media platform that Carnival was no longer supplying loungers due to a safety hazard,
Hoping this is just a silly rumor.
