Splendor ots is docking in kassab until 6pm.

What to do? We don't like boat or beach excursions.

We did not find any city tour or similar tours.

I need a visa to go to Dubai and as flying with Emirates they will take care of getting the visa without any red tape. The only available visa is 14 or 30 days single entry in UAE. My problem is that I have booked a 7 nights cruise with RCCL Splendor leaving from Dubai and calling in Oman and return to UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I have an unofficial information that a retry visa are issued to visitors on board cruise ships.

I have already called RCCL on this subject and have no proper answer. Does any one have experience on this subject? ,

What type of beds are they?

How is driving in Dubai? Easy or difficult? Is language a problem? Do rental car companies provide us with good maps in English?

we arrived in Barcelona last May. the ship docked around 8.30 and disembark stared at 9.00. The taxi line was very long and we had to wait more then 1 hour to get one. The airport is about a 45 minutes ride, with good traffic.

I stay 3 times in Venice pre and pos cruise. To me the most convenient hotel is in Mestre, the Triton in front of the train station and bus stop to P.Roma.

It is a 4* hotel very confortable rooms from €100 per night with breakfast included, plus free wi-fi.

Taxi from hotel to cruise terminal, luggage drop point is about €30. From the airport to hotel is €35.

Costa offers a wifi package in their ships.

Does anyone know their prices?

MSC Poesia arrives at 9am but our flight doesn't leave to 5pm. So looking to fill in time in Genoa and then head for the Airport.

Are there any options for leaving luggage with MSC while we explore Genoa?

There are 2 companies that offer coach transfer directly from the Cruise Terminal in Santos to several locations in São Paulo including the airports.

These companies are widely used and recomend by TAs and are used during

the season (Dec/Mar) by MSC and Costa cruisers.

About 5 years ago we embark in Venice. It was a nightmare!!! We arrive at the port at 12 but wait for about 5 hours to go onboard after check in (MSC cruise).

We are taking a Costa Cruise next October and wonder if we shall go thru the same nightmare?

In Costa information about Venice Cruise Terminal I read about a luggage assistance offered by a firm to tranfer luggage from the terminal to St Lucia Station.

Did anyone used it? How reliable is the service? How long it takes?
