My big concern with this program would be the port days. I can imagine making it worthwhile on sea days, but if I'm off the boat for most of the day, getting to enough in could get interesting. I do have a question about it though? Do you have to buy it the first day, or can you buy it on day 2 or 3, and only pay for the remaining days of the cruise? Not sure I would do that, just curious.

Been far to long since I cruised, but just started shopping, so hoping to have a countdown clock rolling soon. :)
Anyway, great thread and interesting to see all the diverse opinions. Was really surprised to see all of the WCMC in the overrated column. Used to be one of my favorites, so I hope I still like it. THe other thing I was surprised no one mentioned was the piano bar (hope they still have those too). My wife and I always had a lot of fun there, and found it a nice place to have a drink. I will also echo those that love the fish and chips. Only had it on the cruise I took the cruise on the GLory, and it was great. Wish more boats had it.
I do want to comment on balconies too. THese are really overrated, unless you spend a bunch of time in the room. For my last few cruises I had young children and it was great to sit on while they napped and got to bed too early for my taste. ALso, my wife gets ready kind of slow, so I enjoy having a drink on it. IF it weren't for the children issue though, I'm not so sure I would really need one, as we just don't spend much time there.

Nope, not even in the "spray parks" according to their own site....
Note: Due to United States Public Health (USPH) Regulations, we do not allow children in diapers or those not toilet-trained in the pools/spray park.

Thanks. I didn't think they would be, but had never really seen it discussed, so I thought I would ask.

Just wondering about Carnival's water works area on the redone ships. What are the rules there (for the spraying areas and stuff). Is this the same?
Benefits of using a PVP?

Personally, I like using a PVP, especially if you have a good one. They can help answer important questions and it is just nice to have the contact with someone. I probably could do it online, but I'm more comfortable the other way.
