  1. We've used Airola eSim in North America but I like to use a physical SIM in Europe. Just store your Canada SIM safely and use a prepaid SIM . On a cruise your cellphone will connect to the ship network but with a prepaid SIM it won't give service. If your Canadian SIM is still installed and active you could get some very high connection and roaming charges.
  2. True but we only used onshore and for a 12 night cruise more than sufficient for our needs.
  3. We've used a physical 3UK SIM ordered from Amazon in Canada before we leave. Change SIM card while on plane and it works on arrival. Works in UK and EU countries. 25 GB for $30/Cdn. Doesn't work while you are underway unless close to shore.
  4. I replied on your other post as well We self -disembarked Britannia in April. We had a breakfast in the main dining room( buffet was crazy busy) and were off the ship by 0725. I'm sure if you skipped breakfast you could be off even earlier. We actually walked to the coach terminal and were there about 8 and took the National Express Coach direct to Heathrow and arrived at 11AM. The Southampton train station is in the same general area. Train will take you to Waterloo station in London or to Gatwick while coach will take you to Heathrow. There was no delay for customs in Southampton. We overnighted at a Heathrow area hotel before an early morning flight back to Canada. We've been watching the prices on your cruise and may book it yet
